So they have filtered the water more aggressively and I'm not sure if that good or bad. Moosejaw took the complaints about the smell and color of the water so they removed most and far as I'm concerned it's taking some of the helpful minerals out for one out of every hundred that complain. I have never been able to see my feet much less see the bottom of the pool in 9ft end you can see the bottom. You can now see all the paint peeled and cement cracked on bottom. All the railings used be cleaned and polished throughout the day now they are rough dirty. No polishing anymore. Rust stains on the pool edges I have never seen before. They have done some work and are doing upgrades to the patio etc. hopefully they do major fix to pool in the next maintenance window in the fall. They have only owned for six months so I'll be curious to come back next yr and see the progress. As we all know with new owners they will either improve it or screw it all up. My dish consisted off house made shrimp, pollock crab and white wine risotto cakes, flavoured with Dijon and Dill, along with 2 poached eggs and herbed hollandaise sauce and a side of rye toast. As an additional side, I ordered their classic house made bacon rollups. These are made with crushed pecans and pure maple syrup then topped with a hint of cayenne for heat. Honestly, it was a lot of food. You don't need the bacon rollups but the were SO good that I recommend trying them. My cakes were crispy on the outside yet hot and soft on the inside. The taste was mild, fresh and comforting. It was perfect for such a cold day and I wouldn't change a thing about this dish. I highly recommend this restaurant and everything we ordered.
