It was so weird.. As I was waiting I think he doused himself in cologne. The doctor came in and prescribed me nauseous medicine. Then he came back in the room in a cloud of cologne. My headache immediately started back again and major brain fog when he handed me my doctors note, his hand touched mine and I could smell the cologne on my hand. The whole drive home . Before I got into my car. I threw up by my car because this cologne was all over my clothes. He sprayed so much. I just thought it was super unprofessional, especially in this type of environment when people are sick I was so nauseous. I'm still so nauseous and I can't even go to the store to get my nauseous medicine because I'm throwing up over here....

Makes absolutely no sense to make me wait for people to have complete blood draws, etc. just to check paperwork and drop off my sample. To top it off, the technician was rude and racist. I was second in line The lady at the front desk was friendly. I did not mean to startled her while she was watching TV. She was kind and sent me to the area where blood is drawn. The phlebotomist, dark haired short, late thirties, early forties, came up to me, with a smile and informed me or said, "did your doctor give you this kit on June 12". I said no. I never seen my doctor on the 12th of June. The phlebotomist gave me this kit that test ,to see if you have blood in your stool. She conducted this conversation in the middle of the room with six or eight people behind me. I felt pretty awkward and embarrassed. She could have taken me in one of the cubicles to withdrawn my blood and discuss the function of this kit. Instead, she took the next person in line and I waited for another phlebotomist to withdrawal my blood. The first phlebotomist professionalism and etiquette was awful.

Los Angeles, Ca. Overall, I give high marks to this lab…read morebecause of the professionalism of the people who are drawing the blood samples (Phlebotomists). There can be hiccups though and if you are new here, be aware: If you don't have prominent veins, decline to have a new trainee draw your blood unless you're able to tolerate more than one poke. Try to get here as early as possible, like between 6:00 am - 7:00 am. This will enable you to park easily, especially if you use the Gayley St. entrance. If you happen to use the Westwood entrance, try to locate the 200 building parking area. Bring your cell phone. Check in at the kiosk keypad near the entrance to suite 145. You will be called twice, first to register at one of the three front windows, then at one of the blood draw stations that are through the door into the back room lab area. If you are not able to come early, your wait time after checking in may be up to 45 minutes. Parking becomes more difficult, just head to the lowest level and there are usually spots at the remote back end. When leaving the parking area try to chose an exit lane without a vehicle as many people have difficulty using their credit card in the machine for some reason or another. This can make for a lengthy delay in getting out of there.
