Great fast-casual addition to downtown. I LOVE a burrito bowl, so I was really excited to attend their Grand Opening after seeing ads for $6.99 burrito bowl specials. My significant other and I visited that Monday evening and were in and out within minutes. Service was fast, as the restaurant seemed steady but not overly busy. The restaurant interior felt clean and well-decorated, and the ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful. I felt the two burrito bowls we ordered could have been a bit more full for what we paid, albeit on par with competitor brands. This was my first visit to a DosBros, to my recollection, and I was only disappointed with total costs. Despite the $6.99 "anything on the menu" style advertising for the opening day, we walked out paying almost double per bowl. Although I'm no stranger to some rival brands charging extra for guacamole and queso, the employees were not transparent with the upcharges, which also seemed higher than other restaurants and more pricy than anticipated. Given the special advertising and prices for opening day, it would have been nice to know how much more it would cost to add guacamole, queso, and/or double of an ingredient. (There was no acknowledgment they would cost more, and with the speed of ordering, time didn't allow for looking up at the menu to check.) The team also skipped adding a topping I requested. I would have ordered differently had I been more aware of the upcharges and will take this into account next time - although the overall cost for value is to be expected, and the food quality is there. Validated parking (for the garage in the same building) adds to the appeal of stopping here for a meal! All in all, I welcome DosBros to the neighborhood and will be more prepared for my next visit. read more
