And we always try to get a lot of different dishes around the table so everyone can try something different. The food was as usual, delicious! We were in the back room due to our large group and were concerned that service would be impacted, but they were attentive and energetic. The owner came back to check on us as well. The large round tables were comfortable for our group of 8, and we enjoyed our evening. We'll be back next Christmas Eve ( and likely sometime in between)! One thing I noticed that was new (to us) was the open to pay the bill via Toast QR code. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, offering great recommendations when we are choosing between items. It's a great spot to go with a larger group so you can try lots of dishes! It's not impossible to get a reservation which I appreciate, but it's always booked/lively. If you're feeling a little adventurous just do it. It can be intimidating to not have utensils- you just tear off a piece of the Injera (like sourdough crepe) and pick up what you want to eat. Not everything is spicy- but some is, so if you're not up for spice, be careful. There are lots of vegan options and it's ok to call the waitstaff over (he doesn't like to interrupt).
