I could not sit or stand for more than a few minutes. Dr. Lowery started working on me every couple of days. He even had me come in on a Friday in which they are closed and it was Christmas Eve. This man cares. He knew I was in pain an he went the extra mile to fix that. It took awhile, but I go about once a month now for an adjustment. I'm not fully without pain, but my ass is old, it's expected. He has now helped my daughter and is now helping my wife. I would recommend him to anyone that may benefit from his help.

Doctor after doctor, test after test could find no reason for the intense pain. I was at the point of begging doctors to just amputate my lower leg to stop the agony I was in. My spouse is a physician & knew of Dr. Lowery. I was nervous having never been to a Chiropractor. Dr. Lowery took the time to review my reports and his gentle & caring confidence calmed my nerves. They gave me a full spine x-ray and he knew immediately what was wrong. He carefully explained, showing us on the x-ray and my spouse finally saw what every other physician was missing. He gently explained what he was going to do to adjust my lower spine. At this point I could barely walk even with a cane and pain medication. Dr. Lowery manipulated by spine and with a quick snap the intense nerve pain was gone. It was like he had flipped an electrical switch. My foot numbness started to subside almost immediately. I was able to walk out of Lowery Chiropractic without a cane and without pain. Now it is 4 months since I began seeing him and I have my life back. I am still healing with my nerve having been under assault for so long but with each day and each treatment I get stronger. I will be forever grateful to Dr Lowery and his kind staff.

LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!!! Again!!!!!! Dr. Joe saves the day again!…read moreI could write a book on All the attributes I should give Dr. Joe and Crystal but the most recent one was a lifesaver! Two days ago my knee began to swell and hurt with intense burning and pain. I went to Zeeland hospital where they took an x-ray and said it's not broken. (I already knew it was not broken!) they wrapped it up and sent me home with a note it was a sprain. Next morning my knee was all bright red. Frustrated with the hospitals results I called Crystal, at Shugula's office! I had explained to her the situation she was able to squeeze me in to be seen!!!!! Johnny on the spot! Dr. Joe Had me take off the ace wrap. He Examined my knee structure made a funny face and said" I think you have an infection in your knee!" He suggested to go To Holland Hospital. I went to Holland Hospital Immediately after I was seen by Dr. Joe. Really long story made shorter..... HE SAVED MY LIFE! I had bursitis and cellulitis in my knee if I would've kept it wrapped and sat on the couch for two weeks like Zeeland hospital told me to do the infection would've traveled to my heart and could've died. Dr. Joe is more than a chiropractor Crystal is more than an assistant! You won't find an office that is even remotely comparable to Shuluga chiropractic! I gave you 5 million stars!

I did a treatment plan of Physical therapy which helped some, but still did not resolve all of my symptoms. I was at my wits end when I called and scheduled with McAlpine chiro. For the first time since my accident, I finally felt heard and could sense his genuine compassion and eagerness to want to help me. After the first two adjustments I already had relief from the pain that I had for 8 months. Soon my mood improved, my extreme fatigue started to go away, and the pain was minimal. For 8 months my whole life was on pause. I was a completely different person. Once I went to McAlpine Chiro, I started making plans for activities with my family again! Going on bike rides, and making plans to participate in all the things I used to enjoy. Dr. De Young saved my summer. I had an awful 8 months missing out on downhill skiing and ice hockey on the pond with my family, and now feel renewed and refreshed and back to my active fun loving self again. Thank you Dr. DeYoung for all of your compassion and for your excellent skill of cracking backs and taking names... or making claims (insurance claims) .. See he even has me telling my bad jokes again. Thanks again! You're the BEST!
