Visited this establishment on a Sunday. It is a gas station converted into a restaurant. The…read moreestablishment was clean and has about 10 tables. Staff was pleasant. Ordered Brisket, Ribs and pull pork. The portions were generous and the price was adequate for BBQ. The coleslaw was fresh but had to much mayo. Cream corn was delicious. BBQ beans were OK. I was happy to see that BBQ beans were not just beans with BBQ sauce. The moist Brisket I received reminded me of what was left over. It was very fatty and lacked taste. The ribs had a smoky taste instead of BBQ taste and not as tender as other places. The pull pork sandwich was good with a little BBQ sauce. Their BBQ sauce is very neutral in not being sweet or vinegary. Pass on ordering a soft drink as the water/ice must not be filtered. It was awful at $2.50. Also be aware, this establishment will charge 4.5% if you pay with a card.

I walked in and stood there for several long minutes without being so much as acknowledged by the staff. Several staff squeezed past me while I patiently waited to be acknowledged or greeted or told to take a seat (i don't know if I was supposed to choose any seat or order at the counter but that looked like it was only people paying on their way out). So I actually didn't have a chance to try the food as I eventually felt so awkward standing there like a ghost that I simply walked out.
