It's a good place with variety of options Not pricy and good customer service I'll come back for sure read more

Everything's great but they consistently close before 8:30pm and they are supposed to stay open until 9pm. This has happened to us more than once. Us people who work later would like to get raspas too!! read more

This place is heavenly! At the suggestion of my friend, who is from Weslaco, we drove through for some raspas and I wasn't disappointed. The only issue we had was that the menu is really small and hard to see from the car- two of us had never been there before, so we were a bit overwhelmed trying to see the menu and figure it out. Once we settled on our order (a small pink leche and two small tres leche), we got our raspas relatively quickly, and it wasn't too expensive. They were delicious. The condensed milk made everything taste really rich, and the flavor was amazing. I have had plenty of shaved ice (and water ice) before, but nothing like this! I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in Weslaco again, but it would be great if they would make a bigger menu for the drive up! read more

The best raspas in the RGV. This is a true definition of flavor and snow-like ice. No chucks of ice anywhere in the cup and they know how much syrup to put. Of course the true test is when you order a pickle-dilly. This thing is amazing. Perfect sized cuts of pickle, and they even offer it with gummy bears for a perfect taste of sour and sweet. 9.6/10. read more

So good! I always come here when I come down to the valley. Great service and amazing raspas

The raspas here hit different. It's actually shaved ice and not clumps of ice like other places. The tres leches is so milky and creamy. read more

The best period. There are copycats but they can't beat the snow ice, the flavors and the toppings. You have not had a raspa until you had a mean one. read more

Knocking down a star because their fruit raspas are now $10 and don't come in the watermelon or pineapple shell anymore. I lived for these. Their corn in the cup is still really good, so I'll still keep coming back. read more

Not your typical raspa stand! They offer a mix of creative treats with your traditional favorites. I got a traditional lime raspa thst had perfect, soft ice and my spouse tried a Fesanada (craft strawberry sorbet with chamoy). Delicious!!! A hidden gem of Weslaco. read more

This valley institution never fails to delight. I bring everyone who comes to visit the valley here and they all love it. They have the best selection of raspas of any stand I've seen before with everything from rocky road to strawberries & cream to my personal favorite, the picadilly (shaved ice with koolaid, topped with chile and sliced pickle, it is delightfully sweet and sour). Margo's is definitely not for the health nut but sure makes the 90 degree plus summer days in the valley a little bit better. My only complaints about Margo's have to do with the long lines that wrap around the block during the summer and the fact that they never, ever have elote en vaso. read more

Margo's Sno Wiz - Piccadilly raspa with strawberry flavor - Shaved Ice Near Me - Weslaco, Texas

The big hot sun in Texas isn't like any other state (except California) in the summer. Came here when I was young. A long time ago. I didn't know how a raspa tastes like until now. After I ate somewhere. I came here to finish off the taste of the lunch I had. I ordered... A bubble gum raspa! Ordered it. Came home. I took a bite of it mmm. It tastes good. After the eating outbreak. It gave me... BLUE TEETH AND A BLUE TOUNGE! How dare the dye! But it was 'THE BOMB' "Well, it's a hot day in Texas! Might as well eat a great raspa!" read more

Margo's Sno Wiz - The menu of Margos - Shaved Ice Near Me - Weslaco, Texas

If you are craving sweets, this is THE place to go to! They have a variety of raspas for you to choose from nad of course they also have corn in a cup, hot Cheetos with cheese, cocktail fruit etc. Their raspas are something else though, they are not the usual raspas you see in every raspa stand on the road. My personal favorite is the arroz con leche horchata raspa. You're probably asking yourself if the flavor of the raspa is a liquid combination of both, well it is a combination of both but with real arroz con leche on the cup and agua de horchata. It's the perfect combination if you love both of those sweet desserts. When you go, be prepared to wait in line. There are usually 6 cars in front of you but the employees are pretty fast. Note: Do not block the neighbor's drive way because he gets very upset. My fiancée didn't like the chamoyada, so its better to stick to the sweet items! read more

I had stopped coming because sometimes the girls get real rude, but today was awesome. The crew was super friendly and well we weren't sure what to try this time around but one of the girls brought us a menu while we waited for our turn in the car, super thoughtful! Our raspas were amazing and the Frito pie was delicious!! read more

I use to go to Margo's Weslaco location ALL the time when I was younger and now I am so excited that they opened one closer to home because I live in McAllen. They have the BEST snow cones and I don't mind the drive to Pharr just to get one. My favorite one's are the rainbow leche and chamofruta's and yes they are addicting! read more

Margo's sold me a raspa that tasted like dirt. They admitted that I was not the only one complaining. I was told that I should have complained right away. I couldn't because I took it to go and I live in McAllen. I didn't discover it tasted like dirt until I was on the expressway. They did not offer to replace my raspa or refund my money. That's just bad business. read more

no other place around like margos! i moved to houston and i miss having a REAL raspa!!
