I was so impressed with the quality and looks of his windows and patio door, I called HomeSealed and arranged for replacements. I love the windows. It's 0 degrees F right now, and I can run my hand around the windows, and not a draft anywhere. Same with the patio door. The windows are easy cleaning, they lock securely, and the install job was great, with little damage to exiting trim. Great warranty too and an easy online service portal if something is not right. I had rental units and used a discount window company for replacements, and those windows failed frequently. You get what you pay for, and this is an investment that will last many years and pay for itself in fuel savings. If you have the funds for Pella or Anderson's best, you ought to check out Okna. If you're thinking about windows from a big-box store, good luck if there's an install problem, or parts/ warranty service are needed.

To put in perspective: Home Depot installed the highest end Simonton windows possible with the specs requested and came in at around $7k installed. Which means that HomeSealed has excessive profits padded in. So...if you don't care about the money side, they might be perfectly fine to work with as a local outfit. EDIT: laminated was requested as a cost compare option, not a requirement. Even if laminated were a requirement, Home Depot's was still cheaper by over $3k. Fact is - as we said - HomeSealed is just priced higher because they don't use every manufacturer, they only use the ones they use, which tend to lean the higher cost. That's what we said: they might be fine at their job and you might want the best of whatever, maybe they're fine. BUT...if you're like 95% of homeowners who feel that significant pricing differences for basic things like colors is illogical, HomeSealed isn't for you.

The installer was trying to put trim around only one of my window (same place I heard the installers talking) and it's because they cut into my wall and we're trying to cover it up by putting trim there. They did repair that They also installed one set of 3 windows incorrectly and had to return to reinstall them , the person that came back said the way they were installed was absolutely incorrect. And that water would've gotten wet in there and deteriorated wood. I had to have them back to replace the quarter round pieces also around a bedroom window and it was done so terribly that they of course now had to have special people come back in to do it. I have l written them regarding a few lock issues, windows being hard to go up or down, drafts and they asked me for additional pictures besides my description which I sent and then never heard anything from them followed up additional time still have not heard anything from them. The long and the short is that I actually still need them back, but I'm assuming it's going to be extremely difficult to get them to do anything. I don't find them to be a customer centric business. They say they're a family owned business but I think that's for show because the person that was here that was family doesn't work there anymore. I searched for garage door repair, found this company with top reviews, and gave them a call. There isn't any negative feedback in this review. 1-4 are all positive. Want details, keep reading! 1. Initial Call / Operator I called the office and a young lady answered. She was very pleasant, took all my information, and told me a technician would come out to provide a free quote within three hours. She also asked how I found them, and I let her know it was through Yelp. 2. Timeline of Arrival The technician, Angel arrived earlier than the initial timeline. He called beforehand to let me know he was on the way and would be arriving sooner, which I appreciated. We needed to get the garage fixed as quickly as possible so that worked out for us. 3. Technician Angel explained that he could repair it, but it would basically be a band-aid fix. Our tracks were bent and there was another issue, so we'd likely run into the same problem again. He offered to replace the garage door right then, which made us happy since we store important items in our garage. Unfortunately, he didn't have our door type on his truck and it had to be ordered. We scheduled installation for Monday. 4. Installation Angel arrived Monday as planned. He told me the process would take about two hours to remove the old door and install the new one. He was true to his word. It actually took a little less than two hours. He also gave recommendations based on the slight pitch of our foundation and shared tips for 6 month maintenance.
