Installers came back once to make adjustments to the crank mechanisms once and said they need to be broken in!? Now one of the windows, I can't even unlock it, no less open it. The other I cannot lock. Funny thing is the reason we replaced our 25 year old windows was the cranks were not working properly and figured it was time to upgrade. My eyes were wide open for quality. My first introduction to HomeSealed was from a YouTube made by a southern company. I started looking very closely to see if they would fit my needs. From the first contact to the installation, everything was seamless. Nick, my sales rep was timely and very well spoken. All my questions were answered. The office staff was excellent to deal with and gave us just the right amount of attention for updates on the progress of manufacture to setting the date for the install process. Right on schedule our installer arrived and worked nonstop. He was very experienced and all of his work was stellar. When we have our next set of windows done, we will request him. He was very professional, paid close attention to our landscaping and did as little disruption inside and out as was possible. So they had to bring in secondary people during the job. One of the men they brought in was extremely rude, and I had to ask him to leave my house. Additionally they were installing one of the windows in my kitchen. I overheard them say "oh my god did you see that ? And the guy he was working with said "no bro I didn't see anything" I called into the office to say like look, I'm not trying to confront your people while they're here wondering if you can just check in. I feel like something has gone wrong. She said she didn't. They absolutely everything was fine but it was not. The installer was trying to put trim around only one of my window (same place I heard the installers talking) and it's because they cut into my wall and we're trying to cover it up by putting trim there. They did repair that They also installed one set of 3 windows incorrectly and had to return to reinstall them , the person that came back said the way they were installed was absolutely incorrect. And that water would've gotten wet in there and deteriorated wood. I had to have them back to replace the quarter round pieces also around a bedroom window and it was done so terribly that they of course now had to have special people come back in to do it. I have l written them regarding a few lock issues, windows being hard to go up or down, drafts and they asked me for additional pictures besides my description which I sent and then never heard anything from them followed up additional time still have not heard anything from them. The long and the short is that I actually still need them back, but I'm assuming it's going to be extremely difficult to get them to do anything. I don't find them to be a customer centric business. They say they're a family owned business but I think that's for show because the person that was here that was family doesn't work there anymore. When I complained I received an apology. An apology doesn't pay for repainting the walls. Ok, how about either repainting that area or paying someone to do it. MORONS. Fast forward to Ricky at Garage Door Pro who went above and beyond to research for options outside of his normal network. He ended up finding a Harmonn model that fit the bill, which was more reasonably priced. The new supplier had a delay and shipping issues that weren't Ricky's fault but he constantly kept tab on things for us. After a couple of months, the door arrived and Ricky delivered/installed it within a week in less than 4 hours. It came with a fresh door track, trim and other parts. So far, we haven't had any issues and I don't anticipate any but we have a 90-day service warranty and 3 year product warranty. I searched for garage door repair, found this company with top reviews, and gave them a call. There isn't any negative feedback in this review. 1-4 are all positive. Want details, keep reading! 1. Initial Call / Operator I called the office and a young lady answered. She was very pleasant, took all my information, and told me a technician would come out to provide a free quote within three hours. She also asked how I found them, and I let her know it was through Yelp. 2. Timeline of Arrival The technician, Angel arrived earlier than the initial timeline. He called beforehand to let me know he was on the way and would be arriving sooner, which I appreciated. We needed to get the garage fixed as quickly as possible so that worked out for us. 3. Technician Angel explained that he could repair it, but it would basically be a band-aid fix. Our tracks were bent and there was another issue, so we'd likely run into the same problem again. He offered to replace the garage door right then, which made us happy since we store important items in our garage. Unfortunately, he didn't have our door type on his truck and it had to be ordered.
