Called Local Garage Doors for a door that wasn't rolling all the way up but rather slamming down after rolling half way up, pretty scary state and turned out to be a broken spring. Johnny Cowan (tech from Local Garage Doors) came by on a Sunday (with no extra charge) and fixed the springs and the end bearing plates as those were worn out on our 14+ year garage door. He also lubed and checked all others parts thoroughly and helped answer our questions on the rubber insulation and other concerns. Found Local Garage Doors who were happy to help. From the moment we called they were professional, kind, and most importantly, able to come out within a couple of hours of our call! Within minutes of hanging up we received text updates on when we could expect our service tech and they even included a photo of whom we should expect to see when we answer the door. Our tech, Jorge, arrived on the front side of the time window given, which was nice. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to give us an estimate right on the spot. I was concerned that the job might require him to return with more parts or additional manpower, but Jorge let me know he was able to get the job done immediately! Within a couple hours Jorge was able To complete the full repair and even let us know there is a year warranty on the repairs so should anything come up, we were covered. I contacted Precision Garage Door Service for routine maintenance on my garage door. They were…read morerunning ahead of schedule and were able to come early. While waiting for them, my garage door opener malfunctioned. I went to go close the garage door with the wall mounted service device and it malfunctioned as well.. How often does that happen when you're waiting for a routine maintenance and you end up having a malfunction? My Service Technician, Antonio Mendoza, called and told me his ETA as well as checking with me if it was all right if the Service Techs that he was training could participate in my service. When they got here, I told them about the door issue that just occurred. I requested an estimate from Antonio. We agreed upon the price. The guys got right to work. Antonio showed me the wear and tear on the parts that were causing the problem. He discussed the estimate. I agreed to the work and they finished promptly.. All of the service technicians on site were very professional and friendly.. My labrador retriever check them out as well and they all passed the sniff test...Haha.. I would definitely recommend this company. I will be using them again when I have an install at my other home. A Plus Service!!!

I was given a window beginning at 10 am. I was supposed to get a call 30 minutes before arrival but only received 10 minutes notice around 9:50 am. When the technician called he told me that he was training some new guys and they showed up with two trucks and so many people it was overwhelming. I really wish they would have asked me if I was ok with that beforehand. I was told the motor needed to be replaced as the transmitter was no longer working. I was so overwhelmed with the amount of people standing around in and outside my garage I asked them if I could think about it and get back to them. Several hours later I realized one of our garage remotes was missing. I had to call Precision who then contacted the tech via dispatch. He let me know one of the guys put it in his pocket and left with it by accident. I was upset because they then had a way to get into our gate and house so we needed to make sure it was returned. They did bring it back several hours later. To be clear, I do think them taking the remote was an accident but it still made me feel unsafe. We ended up hiring someone else to do the job who came solo and provided less pressure from a sales perspective. I can say the price was comparable to what was quoted by Precision.

Avi was the fourth person to come out and give me an estimate to replace my old Liftmaster gate opener. I didn't want to repair it, which he thought could be done. I wanted a newer gate that gave me MyQ capabilities. He gave me an estimate on the spot, which was lower than all the others, and was around what I was expecting to pay. He came out the next day, set up his tent and had it done in a couple of hours. Professional, reasonable pricing, and timely.

I reached out to him late on a Friday afternoon regarding gate and garage door opening solutions. I wanted to be able to have a keypad and bluetooth control options for gate and garage. I would've been happy to just start a conversation and schedule something for the next week but to my surprise Avi managed to fit me into his schedule that evening. Further to my surprise, Avi was able to assess and outfit my gate with a solution on the spot (he had the parts on hand). The garage door opener needed a separate part which he didn't have on hand but he was able to get it first thing on Monday - he probably would've got it faster but the parts shop was quite reasonably closed. To have a solution for the gate and garage in the span of a couple hours was priceless to me when everything else has been a headache. What made it all the better was that Avi provided these services at a great, honest value. I would finally just like to add that Avi is just a great guy. He was super courteous and knowledgeable.
