Would definitely recommend this business for any garage needs ! Called Local Garage Doors for a door that wasn't rolling all the way up but rather slamming down after rolling half way up, pretty scary state and turned out to be a broken spring. Johnny Cowan (tech from Local Garage Doors) came by on a Sunday (with no extra charge) and fixed the springs and the end bearing plates as those were worn out on our 14+ year garage door. He also lubed and checked all others parts thoroughly and helped answer our questions on the rubber insulation and other concerns. Found Local Garage Doors who were happy to help. From the moment we called they were professional, kind, and most importantly, able to come out within a couple of hours of our call! Within minutes of hanging up we received text updates on when we could expect our service tech and they even included a photo of whom we should expect to see when we answer the door. Our tech, Jorge, arrived on the front side of the time window given, which was nice. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to give us an estimate right on the spot. I was concerned that the job might require him to return with more parts or additional manpower, but Jorge let me know he was able to get the job done immediately! Within a couple hours Jorge was able To complete the full repair and even let us know there is a year warranty on the repairs so should anything come up, we were covered. Just a truly pleasant experience and highly recommend Jorge and Local Garage Doors to anyone in EDH/Folsom who needs someone out quickly and efficiently!

Garage door making loud bang noise when closed or opened. Technician arrived on time. He estimated…read morepossible repair could be $500, depending on what he found. We agreed. He was able to fix the problem in 20 minutes without having to make any of the structural changes he thought might be involved. At no time was I given a copy of the estimate. He said the charge was $500, but could not provide a written detail of the work performed. He said it would be emailed to me, which it was but lacked detail on what work was done to justify $500. The noise was fixed, but I feel this the job was overpriced for a job that appeared to involve minor service and lube, normally a $70 job. I would not recommend this company because of the price and lack of information for the work completed.
