Theo is what all dog owners could want in a dog walker…read more I had a hard time moving into a new apartment with a dog used to open spaces and yards. I really needed someone to calm my pups nerves and truthfully my own as well. I called Theo and probably left a little frazzled message (great first impression) as I done with a few Yelp recommendations. Theo called me within minutes, even after my mess of a voicemail (Thanks Theo!). The next day I had my meet-n-greet, well rather my dog had his meet-n-greet. It didn't take 30 seconds to see Theo had a way with animals. My normally timid yorkie just walked right up to him -- no dog whispering, yelling or calling necessary. Theo took Cooper on morning walks with a smaller group. He was great about keeping me posted on how the little guy did and bathroom schedule. Theo even put out Cooper's food just before he left. I would come home and Cooper would be fed, well-rested and short of afternoon accidents (Win!). Right now, I feel like Theo is a well-kept secret in the city, but after going through the ringer with recommendations I felt the responsible dog-mom thing to do was to share. Theo truly does give your pup a second home and additional person who will love and take care of your pet the way you would. Not to mention in this gosh forsaken expensive city, he's very reasonably priced compared to others who would do less for more. Mark my words, Theo won't be a secret for long.

Oh gosh, where do I even start? Natalie and her team are the best in the business!…read more We first reached out to Natalie after relocating from New York City with our 1 year old mini goldendoodle, Charlie. Charlie is super attached to us and he is very sensitive and loving. We took our time finding a walker we trusted and connected with. Immediately upon meeting Natalie, we felt so comfortable! She has the sweetest and most kind demeanor and really makes you (and your pup) feel safe and at ease. Natalie and her team are very reliable and look after the dogs they walk as though each of the pups were their very own! Charlie has had various dog walkers in NYC, but never once did he wait by the door, wagging his tail when he knew it was time to go for a walk (he's a bit of a homebody). Now, when he knows it's his time with Natalie and her team, he literally waits by the door with a big smile on his face, wagging tail, and barks with excitement to head on out! He leaves incredibly easily with Natalie and doesn't even look back to say goodbye to his mama! Haha. He comes back tired from great play time and very happy & content. Additionally, Natalie and her team provide walk updates after every walk and keep in constant communication with you. Given the craziness surrounding COVID, Natalie continued to keep us updated about new guidelines and when walks would resume. Truly so professional - we feel so very luck to have found her! I cannot say enough good things about Wags, Paws and Heart and highly recommend you give them a shot if you're looking for a new best pal for your sweet little pupper! You 100% will not regret it!

I'm surprise that Andrea and Samantha are not on Yelp yet! They are pretty great!…read moreThey have been walking my dogs for one year now and every time I go out of town they take care of them like they were their own. I usually deal with Andrea and I can swear on my puppies that she is awesome. I'm a creepy dog person and she is able to put up with my crazy requests, and she does it gladly. She is fun, sweet and she does her job very well. When I come back from my weekends the dogs are always in great shape and super tired. When she walks them , I come home and they don't even jump on me to say hi, they are just destroyed and happy. They are always excited when they see Andrea or her staff. The rates are VERY reasonable and they give you good deals. I recommend Picco's Paws because they are the first dog sitters who I truly feel comfortable with; they are committed to do a good job and they really love animals, they don't have crazy rules and they speak clearly about what they do or what they don't do. And just to let you know, Pete and freckles are barking..they agree with me!

We were…read moregreeted by one of their very friendly employees, dog lover, who offered us a dog treat (with our permission) right away!!! This store has an amazing selection of toys, dog beds, leashes, treats, dog cookies, and even a photographer if you want to have a photo session of your pup! Also, they have dog toys and beds of all different sizes, which is quite awesome they're accommodating for those larger & smaller. I also love how the toys are very unique and quality toys - i.e. "Chewy Vuitton" purse, etc. So cute!!! My doggy picked out the golf club toy, which was kind of funny as the dog store is in Carmel. Even though we went to this store about a month ago now, my pup still loves his "new hobby" of golfing! The toy has all sorts of bite marks all over it, but it's still going strong. Love this store! Highly recommended for anyone who has a pet!

They come and pick him up, and then with a few other dogs go to different off leash areas around the city to run around (don't worry, they wait a few days and make sure the dogs are trained and come when called before they let your dog run wild). They have been really accommodating when we've had locks changed, or when our building's elevator was broken for an afternoon. They also post pictures and videos all the time to make you jealous that you're not out there with all these dogs. The few times I've been working from home when they come to get Coby, he completely ignores me in his excitement to see Melissa! They also do overnight stays, and your dog can spend the night or longer with their walker, and then be dropped off back at home (exhausted from a few days of nonstop play). The owner, Donna, is super responsive and clearly takes pride in making sure all the dogs have a great time. The recent switch to automated payment has been great. I couldn't recommend Diggity Dog more highly!

After daily trips out with Brendan, the pooch began to develop better manners and eventually started following some basic commands from people. If you knew this guy, you'd know that was massive development! A few years later, I adopted an amazingly energetic boy named Dexter. Dex was already well behaved but has boundless energy that really needed an outlet while we are away at work. Since my roommate had such great luck with Brendan, I decided to give him a call. Its been two years since we started working with Brendan and I couldn't be happier! Brendan has a key to our house and takes Dex out several times a week to go on doggie excursions and knock out some of that energy. Every day when we get home, we can tell Dex has enjoyed a solid workout. What's better is that Brendan is happy to board Dex at his home anytime we have to leave town. We often joke that Dex would prefer to live with Brendan, as he is always thrilled to see him. Sometimes he boards him for a night, other times it can be weeks. No matter how long we're gone, we know he's in good hands and he is always happy to accommodate our schedules to ensure Dex is taken care of.
