The cinnamon rolls are insane! They're HUGE. The kolaches.....um yes get you several!!!! I then topped off my order with a mocha frappe and it was the creamiest thing ever. If this place was in Houston I'd never go to Starbucks again in my life. The fruit teas are so delicious and with real fruit, no synthetic syrups. There were a few spaces at the front of the business so I grabbed one and walked up to the window and placed my order. With this many customers there aren't many products sitting around getting stale, I ordered a dozen glazed and they handed me a box filled with piping hot donuts that would immediately dissolve in your mouth with each bite. As much as I wanted to devour a few more I was taking them to my mom and dad's to have with coffee about 20 minutes away so I waited. These donuts were only $10 a dozen, it's no wonder the local are lining up for them. Hot Fresh Donuts without a "flashing sign"...

Then tried again and they came out mediocre again. After that, I didn't go for a while but the other day we went as a group and the couple was there again, and they once again tasted like the Shipley I know and love that's in like every corner in Houston. I don't know if it was bad timing or if they're simply better when the owners/managers are working, but I'm glad they're back. As usual, the great Shipley flavor, the dough is especially perfect with the iced donuts. Not too hard, not too gooey. Just the right in between. And of course the cake donuts are great, pair perfect with coffee. Shipley coffee is delicious too. I'd go to them any day before Starbucks or Dunkin. I just wish this location featured espresso shots and the expanded coffee menu like some of the Texas locations started doing.
