Donuts were not as fresh for it being an early Saturday morning. There was also a funny odor inside near a stack of chairs. It didn't look very clean. There was barely any ham n'chz in the ham n 'chz croissants. I prefer the donut shop on Cherry and Baseline....bigger croissants with more ham n' chz! read more

Late night had a craving for something sweet. Donuts sound real good but, most donuts places are close by 8 pm or so. Found this little gem close to home Donut Makers. Great selection and freshly made donuts. When home with a good variety of sweets about a dozen plus donuts including what they call a Fruit Burrito around $8.75 good sugar rush. read more

If you're in the area and crave some fresh donuts this is the place to go! Every time I go their donuts taste great! Just keep in mind to stop by in the morning because that is when their selection is the best, towards the end of the day they don't have as much. Make sure to try their croissants as well!! They're always delicious! read more

Not very impressive. Good to have donuts during shutdown but I wouldn't go back. Nothing was fresh.

Very reasonably priced and delicious!!! i love their hot chocolate and cream filled donuts. very fast service as well. they close at 5pm so im not sure if yelp hours are up to date read more

Note: I'm not usually a big donut fan, but randomly had a craving for one. Friendly service and patient. Many options to choose from including regular donuts, donut holes, fruit filled donuts, fruit filled "burritos", and donuts with cereal. Products itself were fresh, light, and fluffy. Flavoring was great. Would go back... 3rd time coming and feel like the quality isn't as it was the first time I went. The "fresh" donuts were okay today, but seemed a bit dry. The woman working today wasn't super friendly like her male counterpart that usually works. She seemed a bit grouchy today... read more

Pretty good donut shop. Came in at 10 to close so there wasn't any other customers. The donut selection wasn't that large. There was mostly cake doughnuts. I got a sugar twist, crumb cinnamon roll, and a maple bar. Since there was only 3 donuts, they were put in a paper bag. I was sad that when I reached into the bag, the maple glaze stuck to the inside of the bag. The donuts were very soft, but not as chewy as I would like them to be. And the crumb cinnamon roll was okay. Overall, it's a good donut shop if you want classic donuts or cake doughnuts. I was looking for more exotic flavors so this wasn't the donut shop for me. However, it was clean. And the gentleman that helped was nice! read more

I think they should be more careful on making sure that flies don't get inside of where they keep their donuts. People eat these! This is disgusting and I will not be coming back here. Fly is right on top of the all white coconut doughnut btw read more

Typical mom's/pops donut Shop. Booming. Sodas. Coffee. Drinks. Best coffee for sure. Some fresh donuts and some not. No breakfast sandwiches or bagels but muffins. They didn't have ham and cheese croissant when I went. read more

Love the selection and location of this place. Everything is tasty and they even offer day old doughnuts at a discount. The workers need some improvement though. I'm big on customer service or the lack there of. And I don't think it's too much to ask to be greeted WITH A SMILE upon entering. Hello I'm about to give you money, I think that's worth a smile. Or I can take my money to the next corner doughnut shop because y'all are a dime a dozen so be gracious and grateful for business. When I'm with my kids I expect you to greet them too. Maybe even offer them a donut hole or 2 too. You want more repeat business? Entice kids, they're the ones who will insist on returning to your establishment if they have a good time there. suggestions read more

This is probably my favorite donut shop. I went there looking for the day old donuts and was surprised on how fresh they where and how many you get for $6. I took some to work and everyone couldn't tell they where a day old. read more

Really disappointed, I decided to try this donut shop based off of all the good reviews. it's nothing special AT ALL. I only gave them 1 star because of their pb&j bear claw, which even then was JUST OK. First off, the lady behind the counter is extremely rude, it was our first time so of course we wanted to see what donuts they had she kept rolling her eyes at us, and giving attitude while we made our selection (mind you there was no one else but us in the place).. It wasn't until after we finished our transaction that we noticed the pb&j donut, since the atm machine takes FOREVER we asked to get the donut and we'd pay cash.. She rolled her eyes and heavily breathed out because we asked to get another donut. You know, supporting her business and making ANOTHER transition after we just spent $14, 30 seconds before.. on top of the horrible customer service, donuts look and taste like they're two days old, which makes me curious how their discounted day old box must taste if the "fresh ones" taste old. I really can't understand where the hype comes from, rude customer service and the donuts taste like crap. Honestly there's so many other donut shops in Fontana that will be happy to have your business and have good tasting donuts. Save your money and go else where read more

If I could rate zero stars I would. Customer service here was HORRIBLE and RUDE! Lady with red curly hair did not greet or acknowledge us and the store was empty. She complained because i asked for a box. She said that i was wasting her bags (she put each individual donut in separate bags which does not make any sense), and just left after she charged my card. Geez spending $15.35 on 3 chocolate donuts and 3 croissants I would think someone would have better customer service skills. Rude Rude Rude. There are 2 other donut stores less than a mile away. I will definitely never return here. read more

I love this place. I love donuts..and been to alot of places..and this place tops any other. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. There is a huge selection of sweet treats. My favorite are the cereal topped donuts and the donut holes. The hot ham and cheese rolls are to die for as well. The place is clean and there are a couple tables to sit at. Yes, they are pricey! But so very very worth it! If you come early in the day, sometimes they have huge boxes of day old donuts that sell for a couple bucks. They are yummy, but you seriously have to eat them withen the next few hours....and thats fine with me. Fontana needed a place like this! Clean, classy and comfortable place that provides a wide array of delicious donuts. read more

Came 10 mintues before their closing time and as I was parking all the employees awkwardly stared us down. Once I parked in front they stared some more... Stare stand off. I wait, they wait, then they locked heir fucking doors! Signage still blinking "open" and the ass holes lock the door. I just moved here from LA. First time going for a drive to look for a good donut shop and this happens. Lol they lost my business for good. I will never ate ok a place with terrible customer service. read more

Great Donut place. The people that work there are so nice and welcoming. They always ask how you are doing. The donuts are so fluffy and fresh. My favorite is the cereal topped donuts. They have donuts that are topped with Fruit Loops and Captain Crunch cereal. Also, they sell their day old donuts in a box for about $4 but those always go quick because they are just as good as the fresh donuts. My kids and I love the Donut Maker. We don't go anywhere else in Fontana. read more

Donut shops are a dime a dozen here in SoCal, so it's hard to think every shop is different from each other. HOWEVER.... I live in San Bernardino and I drive out to this shop in Fontana every time my family and/or I are craving donuts. That is how delicious the donuts are. The owner always has a smile on her face, and she introduced my husband to peanut butter and jelly bear claws. She also makes Captain Crunch and Fruit Loops donuts!! But you have to get there early for those fun donuts. I almost always get my usual which is a jalapeño ham and cheese croissant. I read in an older review that they got sick from one, but I've never gotten sick from it. A plus: the shop is always clean and beautifully decorated. Another plus: there's a Pokestop right outside the shop! read more

Had a craving for donuts tonight and didn't want the typical donut shop donut so decided to yelp it. Found Donut Makers on the top of the list for yelp and decided to go out and try it. The guy behind the counter was really nice, welcoming, and polite. He asked how we were doing and we replied that it was our first time and he said to just take our time. They have quite a large selection of donuts with two that stood out. There was a donut with a pink glaze on top and a donut with an orange glaze on top. We decided to get both and found out that the pink glazed donut was a cherry flavored and the orange was a citrus flavored. Both donuts tasted great, a must try if you stop by Donut Makers. Prices are relatively reasonable too. Half dozen donuts - $4 Dozen donuts - $7 6 cream puffs - $1 A scoop of ice cream - $1.50 and this is with tax included ! read more
