They had a small shop inside that sold merch and custom ceramics. So much to look at, I couldn't tell you how long I waited. The coffee is locally sourced from BK too! I hear their pour overs are good, but I got a specialty cold brew that got worse overtime. I would go here if I was close or trying to mix up my usual coffee place

I ain't ever hear anyrhing like that your a business . You dont close to re stock things , that has happened to me three times I'll come in and they will say they are temporary close not sure when they will re open and it's frustrating because it will be anytime of the day as a business you don't just get to close for 30 mins -40 to clean or restock . I just get tired of driving here , and it's always something if you have set hours then you should be open the full time , not closing for short periods of time or closing early and if you are then update people have accurate phones because I hate driving an hour to a place that says it's open and it's not

The cold brew is delicious, and she offers different options for flavor and milk -- but the best part of getting coffee from Mamaleelu is Maliesha herself! After a couple weeks of getting coffee she remembered me and my order, and getting to have a small chat with Maliesha once a week was one of my highlights of last summer. One day in particular I was having a really bad day and week, and she gave me a bottle of concentrate that had a broken lid that she'd been saving all day to give to someone. It's so important to have businesses run by local owners who care about their community, and see their customers as people and neighbors. I look forward to being able to buy coffee and have a small chat with Maliesha at the Farmer's Market again some day!

I stopped by, had a really friendly chat with the woman behind the counter, ordered an iced latte, and walked off. This is good stuff. I drank some of it then, but put it in the fridge once I got to my mom's house -- took it out over 2 hrs later and continued drinking...it tasted just as good. If you like a strong but smooth cold brew, this is the place to check out!

The large windows let in a lot of sun, which is quite pleasing in winter. The menu is extensive, offering both coffees and teas, as well as YUMMY-looking baked goods. Coffee goodness: you can have either chemex or drip, espresso beverages, and chai latte, vegan hot cocoa, and a matcha latte. Soy or almond milk is available for those wishing for non-dairy options. They source Kalamazoo Coffee Company beans. The special beverages this week include a brown sugar cinnamon latte, and the uber-scrumptious cardamom maple latte. The place was bustling when I went in today! There are several four-top tables, and then a long window bar with high perch stools. I don't love that it is in a grocery store, but this part of town definitely needed a coffee shop. :) I love Kalamazoo's coffee culture, and am happy to see our newest coffee shop. YAY!
