For years I would buy several dozens of donuts for my staff. Today being National Donut Day I would do the same, this time I decided to do it online to get them prepared for my order since I was ordering 4 dozen of there mixed donuts. All was well and good making my way to shop when out of nowhere they just canceled my orders. I not upset they canceled my order but upset more that my order was for 9:15 am pick up and they canceled me at 9:09am. If they knew they were going to be busy either set my already paid order aside or at least cancel me sooner in the morning and not 6 minutes before my pick. I had to find another location that would accommodate me. I hope this doesn't happen again or anyone else, but this should have been planned better. read more

Their donuts are just as tasty as they are beautiful. A broad variety from your foundational donuts to cronuts and mini donuts. The people at the counter are always so friendly and kind. I have also ordered custom birthday donuts from them twice for my kids and each time was great -- easy to place the order, the order was fulfilled at the time promised, and the donuts were so cute, detailed, and yummy. Highly recommend. read more

Great donuts, kolaches, and croissant sandwiches! The owner and staff were very nice, and it seemed like a very popular place based on the 3 or 4 other customers that came in the same time I did. read more

Get here early to snatch a Cronut! I don't think any other donut place in the neighborhood makes cronuts and that's enough reason to visit them! They also make adorable character donuts that the kids will love. read more

I'm giving Donut City 5 out of 5... it was legitimately a great delivery experience, and the quality plus variety of donuts let's me know I'll be making this spot a staple. We ordered the "office pack special #1" It includes: 1 dozen kolaches, 1 dozen donut holes, 1 dozen glazed & 1 mixed specialty dozen. The pricing is great, the quality and flavors are great, and I honestly haven't got a single complaint. It feels like we got so many donuts, and the devil m delivery was so quick(maybe because I live close? The donuts themselves are super light & fluffy. They are tasty, and let me say if you have no self-control, perhaps don't buy this set. You'll eat them all. read more

Good donuts but very very rude man working the front on 7/10/25 so I will not be back.

I felt like the donuts were underwhelming in comparison to Donut Palace over off MacArthur and Belt Line. It seemed like their service experience, marketing, and advertising were their strong points. There was a huge variety lot to choose from, but the quality just was not there. We got ordinary options like a chocolate donuts, kolaches, and a few others to sample. Our favorite Donut place was closed so we thought we'd try this place out, but I would rather buy frozen breakfast sandwiches or a great cereal. It just didn't justify the cost or quality. read more

This morning my son asked for donuts and I decided to give this place a try. The reviews were good and I'm so happy I stopped by. The service was great and the donuts were beautiful. It was so hard to decide since there were so many options and they all looked delicious. I bought my son an M&M donut and my husband a blueberry frosted. They were both so pillowy soft and fluffy. We will definitely be back! read more

Donut City - Not the best pic but the donuts were so cute and most importantly, delicious! - Donuts Near Me - Coppell, Texas

Kolaches are fantastic. The breading and sausage aren't dry. Donuts, can't go wrong with those either, but I come here for the kolaches. Lovely Korean family business. read more

Love this place. The staff is fantastic. And the donuts and kolaches are amazing. Prices are good too. I always forget to take pictures cause I can never wait to start eating. I recommend the jalapeño kolache and the cream filled donuts. Whenever I buy donuts for the office, it comes out to around $40 and they always throw in a couple bags of donut holes. read more

I'm Surprised of all the good reviews. The people were friendly, place was clean but donuts were dry and tasteless. I had to choke them down with some chocolate milk. I don't feel the donuts were made with any love or care. The good reviews have to be from friends, family, or people that have never ate a good donut. read more

Looking for that amazing cake donut? The one that is crispy on the outside, but perfectly fluffy inside and topped with the perfect amount of icing? This is the place. They also prepare each cup of coffee while you wait. Man, wish I lived closer. Excellent service, as well. read more

My family was hungry and I didn't want to drive and get a thing. Lazy work from home Friday (that's my excuse!). We used UberEats and ordered from Donut City. Everything was amazingly fresh tasting and the sausage cheese kolaches and jalapeno kolaches were exceptionally good. My son and husband both later commented on how good they were. I went to the physical store the next day for breakfast. The store was so neat and cute! The folks behind the counter were super efficient and kind. The next Monday, I realized Donut City was closed and I went to another donut place. My family totally recognized the difference as soon as they tasted the items. "I guess they had an off day", my husband said- not realizing I'd gone to a different donut shop. Donut City is our new favorite donut place and we will be back soon! read more

This cute little place is great donut spot! Almost missed the turn in but the next turn connected! I got chocolate donuts, blue berry cake, mini apple fritter and not pictured the sausage kolaches. Everything was delicious! They were nice and everything was clean. read more

Nice little place with tasty donuts and friendly staff. The memorable moment came when I saw them make my coffee fresh! Yes, they ground the beans, put them in a press and tada! The freshest cup u can get! Thanks Donut City! read more

Preston said it all! Best sausage rolls next to Joe B's. Blueberry was warm and fresh, big & puffy, not flat and dry like most. Funny thing there is the stock Asian bakery pics on the front door of items they don't have! Can't wait til I'm in Coppell again ;) read more

Very good service. They have several different kinds of kolache, and the server took his time explaining the diff of them and giving me recommendations. The sausage roll is decent too. I also ordered coffee and a bottle drink. They gave me a whole bag of donut holes for gift too. read more

I ordered through Door Dash and came here to write a review since they make their reviews on DD private. First, I ordered a dozen donut holes, they sent six. I ordered the sausage rolls and did not receive them and NO this was not an issue with DD. Donut City seals their bags, so DONUT CITY did not pack the sausage rolls into my order. The glazed donuts they sent were stale and hard to the touch and had to be trashed. I only ordered because of the reviews I was able to see on Yelp and google, so IDK if they just had an off day or what, but this was a disgusting presentation. read more

It was a sad day pulling up to the Krispy Kreme drive through only to find out they had gone out of business. I guess people just don't appreciate 400+ calorie donuts like they used to. Ever since this most depressing day I have been casually searching for a quality replacement, which I believe I have found in Donut City. Now I'll be the first to admit, paying a visit to a donut shop at 11a has disappointment written all over it. I mean, it's basically the equivalent of eating that last slice of pizza that has been sitting out all night, right? Fortunately, I was thrilled to find that Donut City is one of the best breakfast places around for a 3 hour old sugar bomb. I can only imagine how good it would have been if it were fresh (I'll probably be writing an update in the near future). Everything we had was quite good, but the highlights for me had to be the chocolate glazed donut (I obsess over chocolate like a woman, so this is a standby for me) and the Kolache. I really don't think I've had a better Kolache, as it struck the perfect balance between sweet and spicy, and the ratio of bread to sausage was spot on. Now if I can just roll myself out of bed early enough to make a trip over there for some freshness I'd be all set. read more

Came in to buy some Kolaches for the office and while I was waiting for them the sweet lady gave me some donut holes to eat while I was waiting. I decided to get some more for my office and she told me I could have them for free. That was very nice and outstanding customer service. I'm very impressed considering this was my first time here! I will definitely be back. read more

Came here around 7 in the morning and got a donut. It was really great, and I've come here many times before for donuts that I thought were good as well. My favorites are the regular glazed, the old fashioned, and the blueberry cake donut. The main reason I gave 5 stars is because of the excellent service. The lady there was really nice, and made my anti-morning personality a lot happier. I can't wait to come back here again, as I'm sure I will, and I'm excited to try out all the different donuts. read more

Donut City - My Half Eaten Valentine's Day Donut! - Donuts Near Me - Coppell, Texas

Best donut shop in Coppell! We bring our kids by on the weekends where they can get star-shaped donuts with sprinkles - way too cool! Our favorite is their sausage rolls - we buy them by the dozen, put them in the freezer, and they make great quick breakfasts when you don't have time to prepare something more involved. The kids love them! read more

This is by far the best donut spot I have ever been to. They have the best donut holes with chocolate and sprinkles. they also have the fill machines, so they will fill your donuts for you and you can say a lot or a little, or none, and I love that. The donut itself is so fluffy and delicious, not too sweet for me at all! read more

I don't often write impassioned reviews for donut places, but I have to say that my first experience sat Donut City was awesome. Compared to the other donut places around Coppell where many people going there (or working there) don't wear masks or pack into the store, when I went here on Friday morning, I was the only person (usually not a good sign, but this time it was). Upon entering, I noticed they had hand sanitizer and wipes by the door, and the worker greeted me while wearing a mask. Donuts were not your run-of-the-mill ones. There were shaped ones and themed ones - my kids liked the rabbit-shaped ones. The sausage rolls were fresh and tasty. Good value too - 4 fancy donuts and three sausage rolls for $7. Transaction can be completed without interaction with the worker using a kiosk. Overall, a surprisingly nice experience. read more

I stop by here whenever I get the chance. I used to live in Lewisville, and I would pass 2 other shops to get to this one. Now I live in Dallas, but I still work in Lewisville...I stop by whenever I get the chance. Their donuts are flavorful, light, fluffy, and do not have any hint of heavy greasiness about them. They are even still very good the next day. What I love here are the sausage rolls. Kolaches, I think you call them here. The dough is yeasty, full-textured, but still fluffy. A most excellent breakfast! read more

Gave this place a 2nd chance since we were unable to try their donuts the 1st Time! The donuts were fresh, good and colorful! We will be back! read more

Very good donuts. Always fresh and warm, and the staff is friendly too.

Prettiest donut I have seen. Yummy~~ Love their donuts. Definitely a must stopping point when I come for business trips.

Donut City is THE BEST donut joint in Coppell - hands down! Donuts are fresh, delicate and sweeeet. Kolaches (89 cents/each) are sweet and slightly glazed on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. The sausages are fresh and the dough is never stale. Try the Croissant Kolache. It's flaky and crispy and buttery good! There's a wide assortment of different pastries from eclairs to twisties and lots of different donuts with chocolate, jelly, sprinkles and blueberries. I love the plain ol' glazed donuts. They're soft and they melt in your mouth. Mmmm Grab a dozen donut holes and a strawberry milk on your way out! read more

Seems like you can't throw a rock in Dallas without hitting a Donut shop and tried this one in Coppell based on other reviews. Well worth the stop. I tried a jalapeño sausage roll. I'm not from the area so this was new to me. Basically looks like a big pig-in-a-blanket, but much tastier. Donuts were very good too. Light, fluffy, without that heaviness that a Dunkin Donuts has. Yum. read more

I would agree with the yelp reviews below. This donut place is really good compared to other small donut joints. I had their glazed donut and two mini chocolate donuts. Their donuts are light and fluffy. The donuts are perfectly coated with glaze, and they do not have that oily donut taste that some donuts have. They also have the option to stuff your donut with jam or custard. If you are in the Coppell area you should try this place out! read more

Typical selection of donuts and kolaches. Their jalapeno cheddar sausage kolache is a good balance of bread to sausage. The standout is the availability of nearly full-sized breakfast sandwiches. Arrive early for good pickings. Cheery, friendly staff. read more
