I just so happened to be visiting Matthews after a recent move and when I pulled up was having troubles with the payment machine due to my error...and a sweet guy name Phil came to assist me.... but the funny thing about it was I had been going there on their monthly special for sometime now over a year and just the fact that he knew me and was asking where had I been? I mean it was just so nice to know that the old Customer Service still stands strong where businesses knew all of their patrons by face or name...THANK YOU so much Phil for being so cordial and kind and making my day! I hadn't been there in months and to be recognized was nice! I will be referring Galleria Express every time I can and come back to the city of Matthews.... KUDOS to you Phil! Take care.

Every business that is going in around it will reap the benefits just by being in the proximity. I travel at least 20 minutes to use this location because it's clean, the attendants are focused, it's spacious, and it doesn't feel confined. I almost didn't want to review it because I personally feel it's a hidden gem. Sam's is always super affordable and the discount you get by purchasing your wash at the fuel pump is a great incentive, just like at all their locations. Highly recommended.

On 12 February of 2026 our new 2026 Hyundai Sonata incurred a cracked windshield. When the vehicle…read moreentered under the first upper brush there was a loud bang. Upon exiting the SolarShine Express Car Wash the vehicle was examined but no noticeable damage was found. Later that afternoon we observed a large crack in the windshield. A claim was filed with SolarShine and this was the response: Dear Mr. Moller, Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention regarding your recent visit to SolarShine Express Car Wash. We truly appreciate the opportunity to review your claim. After carefully inspecting the vehicle and reviewing our camera footage from the time of your wash, we did not observe any malfunction or irregular operation of our equipment. Our wash system was functioning properly, and our brushes are designed with controlled, light pressure that would not cause damage to a windshield that is not already compromised. Attached to this email are photos showing what appears to be a rock chip in the windshield. The crack in the glass runs directly through this area. Unfortunately, even a small rock chip can significantly weaken the integrity of the windshield. When glass that has been heated by the sun is suddenly exposed to cold water, the rapid temperature change can cause the glass to expand and contract quickly. If a chip is present, this thermal stress can cause a crack to spread from that point. Based on our findings -- including the presence of the apparent rock chip and confirmation that our equipment was operating normally -- we are unable to accept responsibility for the damage and must respectfully deny the claim. We certainly understand how frustrating windshield damage can be, and this is not the outcome anyone hopes for. If you have any additional information you would like us to review, please feel free to share it. We value you as a customer and appreciate your understanding. -SolarShine Express Car Wash

They went above and beyond every step of the way, going so far as to help with getting issues resolved that ultimately they could've just ignored. This entire team is beyond amazing and, the job they did, coupled with how they treated me as a customer, has made me a customer for life. I will honestly sing their praises from the highest hills as long as I am alive to do so. I took my brand new car to Detailing by Tim to apply lifetime ceramic (Ceramic Pro 9H). In inspecting the vehicle, they found a myriad of manufacturer defects and went the extra mile to help me get the issues resolved. Without detailing just how far they went, I can say that at every turn, what they did for me was beyond any expectations I had. In the end, my vehicle looks amazing and is protected for life which is good, because there is no doubt I will be a customer for just as long. Thank you Brian and Bryan for everything you did to make sure, in the end, I left happy.

Attempted to remove it ourselves and found it slow going and required lots of elbow grease. Finally gave up and called Brian at Ceramic Pro. He and his technicians did an awesome job removing these tar-like balls from the outer layer of paint. Then they applied a ceramic coating to protect their work. The car looks awesome and good as new. I would recommend them without hesitation. The extra cost for the spore removal was well worth it.
