Affordable for what you get. I hadn't been to this location (or any car wash for that matter) in a very long time. Not long after I pulled in to the menu of options, an employee came up to make sure I was all set and didn't have questions. This time I had no questions but he did help me click through the final options more quickly. As I made my way to the tunnel, 2 other employees directed me to align perfectly with the track to start the wash. Long hoses for the vacuums are great and trash cans were available for me too. It's always an easy process coming here. We paid an unlimited monthly fee and come here often. I definitely recommend getting the unlimited monthly if you like to wash your car a lot. All the employees are always super friendly and efficient. The wash runs smooth, and vacuums are always working. There are plenty of vacuum spots to choose from. If you do go on a Saturday, it does get pretty busy, so you may have to wait for vacuums. read more

I usually don't leave reviews, but my experience at Solar Shine Express was so frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others. If your car gets damaged here, don't expect any help. After my vehicle was damaged during their wash, I was given the runaround when I tried to address it with management. They refused to provide footage, made inconsistent excuses, and ultimately denied any responsibility. It's clear they don't care about their customers once they've taken your money. What's worse is their dismissive attitude when handling complaints. Instead of offering solutions, they act as if the damage is the customer's fault. If they mess up, you're on your own. Save yourself the stress and take your business somewhere that values integrity and customer service. read more

Had alot of salt on my vehicle and asked Matt to spray it off. He was very helpful and took care of my vehicle like it was his own. Next time I will look into a membership to keep my car Shiney and salt free from the winter months. read more

I can't began to express how grateful I am to Tyree and Marcus today at the car wash. My teenage son left his silver chain in the car door and unfortunately I vacuumed it up. I went inside, greeted by Tyree and Marcus. they were kind and considerate and had empathy for what occurred. I thought it was his AirPods at first. they both came out to the vacuum. they had to turn off the vacuums to look in the bucket and I am so grateful I didn't have to come all the way back to when they closed. No other customer was disturbed as they searched. They took the bucket down and behold we found the chain. They had to tape it back up and get back to work. I have a membership and encounter different employees often. I have always been greeted by a smile and a helpful hand. Thank you for being awesome today! I hope you enjoyed your burgers! read more

Ended my one year membership today due to: 1) They have 20 car vacuums on site, but on any given day, only 10 are open, and they refuse to open more. I'm not waiting 15 minutes after my car wash for a vacuum to open up. 2) When I have had an issue on site, none of the crew can help. I blame management here, as they don't give their crewmembers the power to solve a problem. I've always been given a phone number or email address, not helpful. Even more, curious, when I did end my membership today while I was on site, none of the crew members who were helping me asked why I was ending my membership or if there's anything that can be done to keep my business. read more

While wiping the inside of my vehicle with my 4 yr old grandson, the employees came out to speak to an associate of theirs they started cursing a lot, I asked them to please watch their language, as I had a child present; they looked at me like who you talking to. They went inside the office for a couple of mins; I cont'd to clean my vehicle, they came back out and continued their cursing. I asked where is the management a guy stepped up and said he was in charge! He said his name was Georgio, but he was with the employees and friend that I spoke to about the bad language. He communicated to me there was no one to report to as it was a small family business ! I will say another young man who approached me after the last incident, (I think he had just got there and saw a little bit) he was kinder and told me he would speak with the other guys and that I do appreciate I didn't get his name, but he said he was over the guy that I had spoke to. I honestly believe it was a racial thing as I am a black person originally from here and they were Latino when I asked them the first time to stop the language they gave me a look that told me there was no respect for me nor my grandson. read more

I was long overdue to wash my 2012 pick up. I pulled up just before they opened at 9. I was greeted by a lovely young man who was very nice, friendly and fast to take care of me. I got my truck all washed. They weren't concerned with the two plastic Adirondack chairs in the bed of my truck and I rolled on in. It was great being able to vacuum out part of the bed of my truck and the back in the front with any kind of time restraints like it other car washes I thought everything was fabulous until my truck dried. I could still see the residual spray wax I had used on my truck at one point , I had hoped by getting my truck washed but the wax would disappear in my truck would be shiny all over. My truck is black and I could see water spots everywhere including on the windows especially on the passenger side not really happy and I don't think I'll be back. I feel like this is partly my fault not really sure, but I'm not gonna take a chance. I'm gonna have to go to a different car wash brush with a lot of soap. read more

They don't honor their coupons for free wash and their equipment scratched the paint on my old car. They make it close to impossible to cancel or change your monthly membership via phone or online. Those are all great ways to show that you aren't appreciative of your customers... And neighbors! Could have had a customer for as long as I live here, but instead you have lost one. So far this is my favorite car wash to go, but one thing I don't like is they be handing out coupons for free car wash and then they be lying saying it's only with the membership but besides that it's a good place to clean your car. read more

This was my best experience in 22 years of car washes. The manager has old fashioned customer service that will make me come to this location so long as he and the rest of his friendly staff are there. When I began vacuuming out my truck, a gentleman named Sylvester came out when I was in line and hand delivered me two towels, one wet, one dry, to finish cleaning out my truck. He continued that old fashioned quality customer service that began as soon as I pulled up to the kiosk. You'll see in other reviews how awesome Sylvester continues to be to others. Aside from the car wash damaging my grille. The assistant manager Matt was incompetent in handling a simple incident report. From the moment I stepped in frustrated with what occurred. There was zero sense of customer service or empathy. While filling out the incident report he was rushing me and eager for me to leave the office. As one should, I wanted everything documented and sent to me. His responses were far beyond what you would expect at any business establishment. It's clear this car wash lacks in so many areas. To finish off, as I was leaving, Matt proceeded to call me a "sassy ass" and Jaiden and Aiden were witnesses as the office is not that big and they heard his comment. Fred and Aiden did what Matt was supposed to do from the beginning and defused the situation. read more

My son and I had accidentally vacuumed my key fob at Solar yesterday and not only did Sylvester , an employee, do everything possible to help me but from start to finish his customer service was 5 STAR !!! I can't even begin to tell you ALL that he did to help me locate my keys and in the end when the assistant manager had arrived to work he had a key and they both searched out the small vac dirt holder and Sylvester pulled out my keys !!! it was a great ending to a crazy accident !! thanks again to the staff at SolarShine, customer for life right here! read more

I have seen this place for a few weeks and I finally decided to stop in and am I glad I did! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Not to mention, I enjoyed the fact that the vacuums were amazing and the wash was great! They even offer mat washing and towels! Alyssa who runs the was very helpful and knowledgeable as well! This Car Wash did an extraordinary job from start to finish. My car was spotless once I left the lot. This is forsure a Charlotte recommendation for Car Washes. From start to finish I was accompanied by a young man named Evan. Evan show'd extreme knowledge about car wash tools and procedures involving the exchange of purchases (there memberships deal breakdown) Evan not only show'd signs while helping me,he also made sure others around him were just as happy as me.
