Awesome little drive-in on 41 in Kentland. Good service and food with reasonable prices. We had a hamburger, chicken tenders, fries, and fried mushrooms. All good and would definitely go back.

    Cheeseburger with the works!

What a cute roadside stand! We loved the old fashioned nature of the drive in. Reasonably priced food. Cash only! Try the fried pickles. Yum!

    Menu at Don's, June 2020

I used to drive down 41 from "The Region" to Wabash College, and loved stopping here at Don's for a fantastic burger. My dad owned Art's Drive-In in Hammond and I worked there, so I was raised on this kind of place. Today, June 18 2020, I'm still a huge fan. The food is still fantastic, and every time I drive by I stop at Don's for a meal. Not your typical suburban franchise experience, but better: good ol' American family business done right!

Delicious food, friendly fast service, a real throwback gem. If you're driving too fast and pass it, it's worth turning around for! The pork tenderloin sandwich was delicious!

Great food had their Jumbo Burger came with fries and coleslaw served in large portions. It's an original drive in from the 50's Era the staff very friendly and helpful and delivers your order right to your vehicle something most never experienced before unless you grew up the 50's era.

Had burger baskets and chicken strip basket. Food was very good. No working rest room or place to wash hands was a problem.

Yummy. The Jumbo Burger rules. Also, it has the best ice cream, shakes, & vanilla cokes. Wish Don's was open all year. ;D

Before I even walk in, I know the quality of food I'm going to get and I know I'm going to walk out of the restaurant feeling like my arteries need a few business days to recover. As the name suggests, Burgers & Beer offers delicious burgers and an even better time. I've had so many different sandwiches from Burgers and Beer and I've come up with some favorites. The Fowl Player is an extremely decadent burger that is great if you want to take a few years off your life! It comes with bacon and an egg. The flavors are fantastic, but you definitely feel some kind of way when you have grease and egg yolk and butter running down your arm. Consider it a cheat meal. If you're looking for something exotic, the Gladiator takes Mediterranean flavors and adds it to the burger. It has tzatziki sauce and feta cheese on it. The burgers in general are always cooked well and flavorful. Burgers and Beer sells other things too. The Smokin' Q is a decent BBQ chicken sandwich, but nothing too crazy. They have hot dogs and fish sandwiches, BLTs, peanut butter and jelly, you name it! I also get my sandwich was a side of tater tots. Those can be great, but sometimes they're a bit overdone. You also cannot forget dessert, their brownie sundae will be sure to give you a sugar high. Generally speaking, service is friendly, but food can be slow. On multiple occasions I've had to wait close to an hour. This is also one of the few restaurants in Gibson that is accommodating to all types of dietary restrictions. I come here with my colleagues specifically for their gluten free friendly options, as well as meatless items. I certainly consider Burgers and Beer a staple in town, you certainly can't beat a good juicy burger with your buddies!

The server helped me pick a popular drink, she let me try any of their tap beers before deciding what I wanted. We had the sausage appetizer and it was delicious! We will definitely be back!

It came with three different sauces: beer-infused mustard, tangy barbecue and creamy horseradish. I could have just sat here and ate charred pork and drank beer and I would have been happy. We also got a Caesar salad, which was OK but would have been a bit better if it came dressed -- the dressing came on the side. The wedge salad was good but was less of a wedge and more of a regular salad. Fenwick Farms has a kids menu, which features things like cheeseburgers, buttered noodles, chicken strips and other kid-friendly foods. Each kids meal comes with a side and a dessert (ice cream sundae), although we didn't get our ice cream, but it was fine because my kids didn't need anymore sugar that day. Speaking of kids: They have free arcade games to play! My kids played Pac-Man and NBA Jam while we waited for our food. The Fenwick Farms Brewing Co. beer is made right here at the brewery, and this is the first and only craft brewery in Rensselaer. They have 30 different beers on tap (most their own, some guest beers), and they offer flights. Indiana knows how to do craft beer, and FFBC is another great example of great beer.
