The store has plenty of selections from wine, beer, tequila, rum, vodka, cognac, etc. It's great how organized they keep the different sections of alcohol. It makes it easy to want to try another brand of alcohol when it's all in the same spot. They also carry additional party needs such as ice, mixers, cups, games, salts, and a few other items. They also sell sets of items that are priced to save you money, for example I bought a set that included tequila and margarita mix for $19.99. Separately I might have spent about $40. The cashier was quick and attentive by welcoming everyone in the store. The store was also kept very clean and orderly.

Yes, they have the typical brands you're likely looking for and, yes you pay more (but come on...support family businesses y'all!) This shop has a decent variety of liquors, but not a whole lot of wines. They weren't up to speed on National Tequila Day when I went, but every day can be Tequila Day if you're internationally woke enough. REVIEWER # 6…read more Downtown San Antonio is nice, but there is one thing that they are lacking people....A legit liquor store that doesn't cost an arm and a leg just to buy a drink! Good gracious! I stayed in San Antonio for a little over 4 days and while the bars around town serve alcohol, they skimp you. My friends and I were getting tired of paying $12 for a drink that was dang near watered down. We decided to look into liquor stores around the area so we can purchase our own drinking collection. Upon looking up liquor stores on Yelp, we came across WB Liquors & Wine. WB Liquors & Wine is definitely the best well-known liquor spot in the San Antonio. Located 10-15 minutes from downtown, this place definitely earns their 5 stars. They offer a wide selection of not only wine (red or white) but also some of your favorite liquors that you wouldn't find walking into Walgreens or Walmart. They sale: Patron (Silver or Reposado), Hennessey, Liquor mixes, Svedka, and tons more! If you are looking for it, I bet they will have it! They also have personalized small liquor for $1, no matter what type it is! Talk about CHEAPPP! They have ample parking but luckily this place doesn't get busy. Surprising to hear for me, they have a law in Texas that is: No liquor stores can serve alcohol on Sundays! OMG! Goodness, glad there are no rules like that in Cali! Customer Service here is great! I was able to speak to the General Manager, Brain, and he was SO down to earth! Loved his personality! Looking for some decent priced liquor or wine? Definitely come here!

But if you like trying something new, this isn't the place to go, unless you've never had Jim Beam before. They have that. They sell some individual drinks as well. I prefer going to Specs down the street, or Total Wine further down 281. The staff is always friendly once you get to the counter. They're not going to come around as opine on the nuances of various grapes or variations of agave plants. They're used to people showing up and knowing what they want out of a discount liquor store.
