I was a regular customer and purchased all my liquor and wines from them. They used to match competitors prices, then someone had a brilliant idea to stop. So...... I stopped shopping there. It was actually the straw that broke the camel's back. Edna is the only genuinely friendly person there. The lady who replaced Butch was always unprofessional, disheveled and didn't ever make eye contact. As for the ambiance, it's nothing to talk about as it was vanilla at best. I shopped once at the other location in Kingwood and got the same impression. Maybe!!! It's the company culture!!! Good luck on customer retention.

The store has plenty of selections from wine, beer, tequila, rum, vodka, cognac, etc. It's great how organized they keep the different sections of alcohol. It makes it easy to want to try another brand of alcohol when it's all in the same spot. They also carry additional party needs such as ice, mixers, cups, games, salts, and a few other items. They also sell sets of items that are priced to save you money, for example I bought a set that included tequila and margarita mix for $19.99. Separately I might have spent about $40. The cashier was quick and attentive by welcoming everyone in the store. The store was also kept very clean and orderly.

I choose to not wear a mask, it is not required but a private business can elect to restrict their property. When I entered I was rudely asked if I had a mask. When I told the guy no he told me that it is their store policy to wear a mask. While standing at the door I asked if they would be able to shop for me or provide a mask for use or sale he rudely told me nope and I can gladly leave the property. That store only cares for people the care for others. Well it's my right to not wear a mask, it is not legally required but I was willing to work with a local business to help keep them around. As I was pulling out of the parking space I saw another patron turned away rudely for not wearing a mask. I have lived near this local area store for a year and I frequent it when I need to restock on liquor or mixes. I am sad to say that given the rude treatment by the young fellow working the counter tonight I will not be a patron any longer. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. I have spoken several times over the last year to the owner and I will gladly take this up direct with him. I hope this young man learned a lesson about respecting customers and not being rude. If not then he and the owner will suffer but they will have this at least to have some idea of why.
