This was our 2nd Ghost Hunt here we went to. If you like that kind of thing I definitely recommend…read morethe Thomas House. Desk bells were ringing with no one around them. Odd noises. And in our room the first time we stayed we woke up to the lights on and we didn't turn them on. This last visit we took pics of everything in the room before we put suitcases or anything else in there to compare and we're so glad we did. 2 little porcelain statues appeared on the sink that was not there. I love this place. You get dinner with the package. The first time we had baked chicken & veggies and it was pretty good. This last time I'm just going to say the meals need some improvement. Everything else was great. From the people running the place to the people doing the ghost hunts are very nice and will answer all questions. I've been twice and will definitely be going back. You guys have got to go check this place out. Pictures are of The bell that kept ringing, the 2 porcelain figures that appeared, and the one my daughter took but I'm not sure what it is. Remember, this is a very old hotel with a lot of history. Make this your next stop. Go to their website and it'll let you know when the ghost hunts are. So much fun. And it's an all night ghost hunt. This was a treat and I loved every minute of it, most of the staff was amazing. I went with a group of friends as a last minute stand it and I will go back. The younger man (I think he was running it) came up on stage with so much energy and gave us a lot of tips and pointers to look for! The food was good, you could tell the kitchen staff knows what they are doing. The only complaint I think I would have is the older woman that checked us in, I couldn't tell if she was drunk, high or both and she was definitely not personable. Overall it was a great experience and we will be going back.

Make sure you use your Waze app to get here. It is off the beaten path, but it is well worth the trip and I would like to say that it is worth the time too explore. Once you have navigated through your journey, you'll realize that you have come to an oasis that is green and lush and full of forest with nothing other than being surrounded by the sounds of nature, birds, and other. I selected his venue for our 32 year anniversary which did not disappoint. It's a small intimate cabin, however, has all the comforts of home the wifi is super strong and allows you to feel connected, but not so much that your not enjoying your stay. The location affords Nashville transplants or less noise seekers to allow for a brief respite from the noise and nonsense of Nashvegas! Once again Dave was extremely gracious and welcoming and we cherished our time at this great bed and breakfast. Please be advised that this a bed and breakfast and you must realize that others may be in the same structure, however you have ample space for doing your thing. We will certainly be back and we highly recommend this spot to get away.

If friendly staff are a must for you, you might consider this hotel. Staff were not overly friendly, but they weren't rude either. If a nice, well thought out, and creatively presented breakfast is a must for you, you will definitely want to look elsewhere. We are here for 3 nights and the breakfast is always the same. You have your choice of up to 4 small waffles or 1 large waffle. You can then choose from Orange or Apple juice. At the next stop, you may choose between fruit loops cereal or Post Raisin Bran. You will then find a basket of red apples, with the store sticker still on them (indicating they have not been washed). For the last stop, the offerings are banana/strawberry or peach flavored yogurts. It's like Ground Hog day, the same offerings day after day. We chose not to utilize housekeeping (we just swapped out our towels), but the same guy running the breakfast is the housekeeper as well. One last thing about the room. There are no drawers, but any place you might put your clothes is open. There is a nice closet with nice looking doors for hanging pieces. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the stay was pleasant.

The bed was WONDERFULLY comfortable. The jacuzzi was such a treat. The jets worked as they should. Our walk-in shower is awesome. Mini fridge/microwave worked flawlessly. The pool was small but just what you needed after a hot day. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience from top to bottom. If we come to cave city again, we'll be staying there! Thanks Lena!
