Nationwide forced an estimate from one of their people and Gerber (Bessemer, AL) was on the list. 30 minutes before my Mother's first appointment, they called and cancelled. She rescheduled for an afternoon appointment. Shelly called that morning asking her to bring it in within one hour. That wasn't possible. When reminded of the afternoon appointment, she stated there was no appointment scheduled. I called the third time and got an appointment for 9:00 a.m. Upon arrival, Shelly said "I thought your appointment was at 10:00." The excuses to the insurance company were "Weather, internet down and bad connections." I don't believe any of the three. There was nearly $7,000 worth of damage to the vehicle and their estimate was a complete joke. Thousands less than the repair would cost. Gerber is the cherry on top after dealing with Nationwide. My mother is not well. She didn't need the run around or any extra stress. You guys really need to do better. After leaving this review, Shelly contacted my Mother and was angry. She said we were supposed to pick up our rental car from them. Ha! She also mentioned me her daughter- me. Shelly, do not call my Mother again. You are working impaired on pain pills while recovering from an injury. The two do NOT mix! You should be embarrassed and fired.

My name is Tim Garner and I live in Birmingham, AL. I was traveling to Huntsville, this morning…read more(Monday Aug. 1st) when my tire pressure warning indicator came on while traveling on I-65. I pulled off the interstate into the Warrior, AL area at about 6:30am. Of course, nothing was open except a local gas station. The lady indicated that I might try the Warrior Body Shop for help. The Body Shop wasn't opened yet so I started the process of changing my damaged tire with the spare when Charles White from the Warrior Body Shop showed up just before 7:00am. Charles opened his shop and had me pull in. He checked it, found the problem, plugged my tire, refilled it and even offered me a cup of coffee for nothing more that a "glad I was able to help" comment. This is what I call "old fashioned neighborly" help. I couldn't speak more appreciatively for how Charles took care of my problem. If this is indicative of the care for people's vehicles with body damage, then I believe you are in great hands taking your vehicles to Warrior Body Shop. Thanks Charles!!!
