Moved to this area (Thrasher's Corner) from King County more than 3 1/2 years ago and have purchased from Donna's the last 4 years. They're always super friendly and helpful (thus 3 stars rather than 1 or 2) and we were satisfied the first year or 2. But with each year the quality seemed to go down (as the prices went up) in terms of how they held up through the season. This past December (2018) we noticed the deterioration starting immediately as it started losing needles at an alarming rate. The attached photos show what it looked like after removing decorations on 12/30/18, barely 3 1/2 weeks from purchase. We had them cut a few inches off the bottom not long before putting it in the stand and kept the water full, although it never seemed to be absorbing much water, if any at all. I've been buying Christmas trees (either from a lot or U-cut) for more than 30 years and except for the last 2-3 years usually see water absorption at a high rate over the first few days. We'll be going to a U-cut farm at the end of 2019.

Pretty pricey! So pricey that we shopped on the "sale rack"! It was a few days before xmas and we just wanted a tree to put some lights on. Nothing special. We found a good looking one for $30 and took her home. The tree itself lasted through xmas and turned out perfect. The staff were nice and secured it to our car tightly. Oh! And they have a tree inside where you pay that has a train track around the middle part of the tree, floating! So badass, I have never seen that before. Now I am on a mission to find one!

Been coming here for years. Always able to find a quality douglas fir. We usually get a solid 6 foot+ tree for about 55 dollars or so.

This place has good trees, but it's really pricey here. And they don't shake your tree before you leave to get the excess needles off.

I parked my car and was instantly greeted by a jolly tree-mongerer (Larry!).

It is picturesque and run by a local family for a few generations. The view of the Snohomish valley is breathtaking! Seeing wildlife is apart of this experience (eagles, hawks, migrating swans, bunnies, ..etc). If it's a clear flying day, the chances of seeing a plane on its landing path are high. (So worth it for the view). During covid they had their barn closed to the public but they have reopened it this year. Such a fun experience for the younger kids. They had free hot cider and hot chocolate. The model train was a big hit for us. They are selling Christmas wreaths, swag, table centerpieces, garland, and a few other goodies. We have always had wonderful experiences with our fresh cut trees. Im not sure how the previous poster had a dead tree because you have complete power in your choice of tree because you are cutting it down. Potentially a user error by not watering it? Once you cut your tree and haul it to the front with a cart, they shake it out and wrap it for easy hauling. We always bring our own tie downs for securing our tree to our truck but they have twine in case you forgot. It's an overall wonderful experience in the outdoors and we look forward to it every year!

They had no shortage of people to help. They were all very friendly. Be sure to bring small bills for tips. This tree farm is more expensive than Long's tree farm that we went to last year, but in my opinion the trees are nicer and with the extra help, it's definitely worth it for us. The only reason i didn't give this place 5 stars is that the different varieties were all mixed together and there was no labelling of what trees are which variety, so if you are looking for a specific variety of tree and your tree identification skills are lacking, it may be tricky finding the variety you are looking for.
