I did 20 minutes on my exercise bike before I left the house but felt I needed a really good walk somewhere outdoors too so I came here and it was a decent enough place to get in a good 25-30 minutes of walking time. This park is definitely catered more to families as there were lots of kids playing a variety of sports or having fun with friends in the play area so if you have children or just looking to walk your dog this could be a great place to take them. There were also stations set up to do a variety of exercises which is pretty cool. I prefer my local park "Wild Wood" in Puyallup but it was nice to go somewhere I've never been before and Gig Harbor is a beautiful city. A couple young missionaries approached me towards the end of my walk to invite me to their church which I'm not local and church isn't really my thing to begin with but they were friendly and not as pushy as others I've come across over the years so it wasn't off-putting. Next time I'm around the Gig Harbor area I may come back for a short walk here but would like to see other parks are around the area.
