At my most recent visit, I waited about 15-20 minutes after my appointment was finished just to receive an estimate. When I finally approached the front desk to ask about it, I was abruptly told to "take a seat, they'll call you when they're ready," with no courtesy or acknowledgment of the wait. I work in healthcare myself, and I know how important patient experience is from start to finish. A little communication and kindness go a long way. It's disappointing because the clinical staff do a great job, but the front desk interactions make me question whether I want to continue giving my business to an office where patients are treated this way

Completely unprofessional and unaccommodating. I have insurance they don't accept, so I've had my exams, x-rays, and major work done elsewhere, but I came here for cleanings because the hygienist is excellent. After booking weeks in advance, they had me drive all the way in only to refuse to see me unless I paid for another exam with their doctor. This was nothing more than a bait-and-switch money grab. On top of that, they only called me 15 minutes before my appointment--far too late to avoid wasting my time. And to make matters worse, I've seen them offer incentives for patients to leave positive reviews, which explains why the ratings don't match the reality. I could never run my own practice this way. When I had trouble scheduling and maintaining my ortho treatment, Village Dental accepted my case and took care of everything. The front desk staff were all very attentive, and answered all of my questions and concerns. They always follow up with me and all my needs were attended on each of my appointment. Also, this office has in-house periodontist, oral surgeon and endodontist so that way I don't have to get multiple referrals or going into another specialist office. So why go anywhere else if you can have it all done in one place? The other thing that stands out at this office is that they implement hand washing station to all guests - something that I didn't see from my old dental office (and other dental office that I've had in the past), which makes me feel safe knowing that they're following the strict guidelines set by cdc and county public health. This is important for me as I work in healthcare as well so implementing this simple yet effective health behavior makes all guest and staff feel safe and comfortable, especially that we're still in the midst of the pandemic. Overall, my experience at this dental office is far beyond my expectations. Highly recommended!

There was absolutely nothing wrong... Fast forward to a few weeks later, I received a bill from my dental insurance. Village Dental Group told me I was 100% covered just to find out I now owe $500. When I first went here I was advised thay I should replace two older metal fillings that I had done many years ago. I was reluctant because they were not bothering me and felt great, but decided to go through and get the newer fillings done. Schedule with the doc and come in on appointment day. Was told they would only do one filling that day and not two. Not sure why, but okay. Filling done and scheduled for second filling. Show up and told that another doctor will be doing the filling. Not over thrilled with having multiple doctors as they each have their own way of doing things. Second filling done and its poor quality work. Sharp edge left, and not properly grinded down for bite. Cant feel that though since my mouth is numb. Had to reschedule to have that fixed. Went back in months later for a cleaning and again have a different doctor who does my care. I prefer to have the same doctor all the time, but having a different doctor each visit left me disappointed. To make matters worse, I write this a couple years after getting the fillings. The filling from the second doctor cracked and pieces broke off while eating. Went to a different dentists office who fixed the cracked filling and made mention that the other filling which wad done here was done poorly and re-filled that knew. No problems with that procedure at all.
