My happy baby

Stay far away from this place. They Groomer there was on her broom stick with a very nasty attitude because I missed my appointment. Things happen lady! Then she talked about other clients who missed appointments. She is very unprofessional. Learn how to work with all types of personalities lady. Didn't you learn something during the pandemic? Treat people with respect as you don't know what they have gone through in their life. Because of her, I will no longer bring my fur baby to this Practice.

I needed a vet in a hurry on a Sunday and Dr. Jerger returned my call and had me come in right away. He quickly put me in system and went right to work diagnosing Bruno to see what was wrong. I was very impressed at how comfortable my dog was. He went as far as trimming his nails and cleaning his ears. He hydrated my dog and sent me home with medicine and something to add to his food. I feel price was reasonable for a Sunday. I will return

Thank you for your care...

We love Dr. Jerger and the warm friendly staff. Everyone here is a true animal lover and very kind hearted. Dr. Jerger especially is a softie towards animals but tells you his concerns regarding your beloved pet straightforward which we so appreciate. He's also interested in saving you money and gives you his opinions on the most realistic routes to take. My husband who is a crazy cat man only trusts Jerger!

A Big Thank You to Dr Brown and Dr. Jerger and the entire staff for all that they do. Amazing all around. Cannoli and Pepina thank you too!!!

Unfortunately we had to make a trip to the vet, as our 9 year old APBT wasn't walking correctly. She couldn't keep one of her hind paws firmly to the ground so she dragged the entire leg. Thankfully Dr. Brown was able to squeeze us in. From the front desk girls, to the techs, to the Dr. it was a pleasurable experience. Diagnosed with severe arthritis and spondylosis, meds everyday and a healthy diet, our old girl is back to running and darting everywhere like a beast. Thank you for helping her Dr. Brown! Mona is also thankful!

This was the worst vet I've ever been to. So disgustingly rude and unprofessional. Never go here!!!!

Our cat was stable but not eating or drinking for 24 hours so we brought her here…read more. Three days and $4,574.50 later (CHA-CHING! ) .. we decided to have her put down because we couldn't stand to see her suffer anymore. (By this time she was hardly breathing.) While under their care she got worse and worse and they kept charging us more and more. We had to put an end to it. ..Sadly we had to let our little fur baby go. We won't ever go back there again . If our other cat should need critical help..we will go directly to the Red Bank Veterinary Hospital .

I brought my cat here who was 3 years old. He was diagnosed with heart disease. The reason why I…read morebrought him in is because he went into heart failure and as a treatment they gave him lasix and oxygen to keep him comfortable. I was told that I needed to see a cardiologist. The cardiologist was only available on Thursday's. They tell me it's okay to bring max home until then and that I NEEDED to see the specialist. Saw the $1,000 specialist who told me my cat had 6-9 months to live and off the bat said well "it's severe" in the most obvious tone. We had no idea. He was also very insensitive and clearly rising to see the next patient. The next day, my cat goes into heart failure again. I rushed him to the hospital and he unfortunately declined so quickly that he passed once I brought him in. I know sometimes there's no way of knowing. However, I don't know how he DIDNT see the severity and tell me that it may be sooner than later. Nonetheless, as my maxie passed there and I was asked if I wanted to say goodbye- they brought him in with his eyes and mouth wide open and no blanket over him. It was the most traumatic experience I and my fiancé ever had with an animal and now all I see is that picture in my head. I will never go back to this hospital and never recommend them for this reason. There was no logical reason for them to present him like this and I am still furious. While battling grief as traumatic as it already was, I just have flashbacks of this moment because of them. I wish I brought him elsewhere where he would've been respected. It felt entirely disrespectful for the ending of a beautiful life.

Pleasant plain animal hospital is the reason my precious little baby is alive today! After getting…read morepyometra and being in such critical condition we went to 5 different emergency rooms and animal hospitals who were charging us 5-7k for the surgery. ASCPA wouldn't take us and we also tried one of those vet vans which we really felt uncomfortable going to. We called a few other vets who sounded like they were very not accepting of helping our pup. We called pleasant plains and they immediately agreed to take her in and gave us a price estimate over the phone. When we came in the entire staff was so caring and friendly. They broke down the price for us from best case scenario to worst which was 2-4k. And whenever our pup had a complication we were notified immediately and told about it as well as how it would affect the price financially. Dr. Sophia was the vet who took care of our little pup and she stayed overtime to give her the surgery, came in to the hospital after hours to make sure our girl was okay, and really went out of her way to help her. I no doubt believe if we went anywhere else our baby wouldn't have made it. Not to mention we got good morning and goodnight texts every single day with a picture of her. Really really the best animal hospital and vet we have ever had and I am so grateful for each and everyone of them.

Absolutely atrocious. I get with vet reviews when you lose a pet you love it gets convulted but my…read morereview and experience is solely based on unethical malpractice. Once what was a good small clinic is now just a clinic. You will see numerous different doctors. There will be numerous miscommunications. In my experience they CYA and state they said one thing but never did. You consent to things which they dont perform and they chalk it up on, hey we wrote it so. Theres never an apology, the only solution is to spend more money. Furthermore the front staff yes you to death and never follow up on anything, insurance claims, whatever. People wait in the waiting rooms for an hour plus with appointments. Then if you have any complaint on an administrative level, good luck because its whatever they have in writing. No sympathetic apologies, reflection, or anything. Its MALPRACTICE & they are ALARMISTS. This once was a great vet. Not anymore. I urge you to PLEASE go somewhere else
