The staff was really friendly and was explaining to us for being the first time ordering. I took their recommendation and was very pleased with the quality of the meat and the taste of the pita. Check it out. read more

Generous portions, entree plates can feed two. I was very satisfied with their customer service, staff was very approachable and helpful. All their sauces helped enhance the flavor. All their ingredients were fresh and natural. read more

This location has improved a lot in the last few months. There were like 4-6 staff working on Friday night 11/3/2023 which is great! When I came before, it was always a long wait because there was only 1-2 staff. Staff on this Friday night were very funny and happy and prompt with getting our orders and other customers. Parking is plenty since it's a big shopping area. There are inside and outside seatings. The inside always feel too cold for me. You can actually sit down and enjoy your meal without being rushed to leave. Food: My family and I usually order half beef/half chicken plate with rice/pita/hummus - no veggies. The meats can taste a little dry so REMEMBER TO ASK FOR LOTS OF GARLIC SAUCES! They enhance the meat flavor and bring it home! So good! I enjoyed DonerG but I had tasted better Turkish/Mediterranean food. I would still come return to satisfy my Mediterranean cravings. read more

Located in a nice plaza with a little bit of everything from massage shops, nail & hair salons, a bakery, Target & eateries. Among them is DonerG. We were warmly greeted as it was our 1st time there. This always makes me thankful whenever people acknowledge customers & definitely made a good impression for me. Orders: Istanbowl: a nice size able bowl comprised of beef/chicken kebab, red cabbage, onions, parsley, shepherd's salad, falafel & pita bread. The meats were thinly shaved with enough seasoning that I didn't have to rely on dipping sauces to compensate. Falafel was crispy & crunchy, there never seems to be enough . Although the bowl didn't lack anything, it was nice having an option to choose side sauces. I got the House Sauce which was a sweet tomato, the Serrano Chili sauce made with Serrano chili puree & spices that gives you a mild spicy kick. The 3rd sauce I ordered was Jajik which was a cucumber & yogurt sauce similar to Tzatziki. Out of the 3 sauces I really like Jajik for its refreshingly cool & creamy taste . When you Check In you receive a Hummus or Baba Ganoush appetizer with Pita($7 value). I decided on the Baba Ganoush with its Smokey aroma. They didn't skimp on the Baba Ganoush & it was delicious from start to finish. A great place to dine when craving Turkish/Mediterranean food in Irvine. read more

I lover Doner G and what I liked about this place was how clean the servers were. Every time they rang up a customer at the register, they used new gloves when getting back to preparing orders. I had been craving a doner sandwich and this meal definitely hit the spot. Big shoutout to Benjamin and the other Hispanic gentleman working with him. read more

DonerG - So tasty! - Mediterranean Near Me - Irvine, California

I'm a huge huge fan of this establishment. I feel like the attention to detail in food, seasoning and flavor is hard to find in the price range that DonerG prices its food at. Not only is the value rock solid but every bite is delicious. The rice is delicious on its own, same with the cucumber salad. The pitas are soft and pillowy. They really pay attention to every part of every dish. The baba ghanoush side is also delicious and goes really well with a main like the Instanbowl.. I've been here like 3 times since moving to Irvine 2 months ago and will continue to come here for as long as I can. There should really be a DonerG in every city and neighborhood delivering humble, quality, affordable food like this. read more

This is our go to neighbourhood doner place(I don't want to cook at home). The chicken kabob and doner tastes amazing and succulent. I am not a big fan of beef doner. The servers are usually kind but if they are busy they can be a bit edgy. It's a cute place with inside and outdoor seating. The portion size is good. Would definitely recommend read more

I love getting DonerG for takeout after work. It is such a quality quick service Mediterranean restaurant that is an excellent bang for your buck! The doner kebab rice plate is my go-to and always lasts me at least 2 meals. It tastes super fresh with the addition of all the veggies, and the sauces are delicious here too. My only complaint is that the dish is pretty oily. I like to transfer the meal to my own plate when I get home to reduce the amount of oil I am consuming, since the oil usually stays on the bottom. Nonetheless, I will always come back here when I need a quick Mediterranean fix! read more

As someone from the Gulf, I wasn't expecting much when I stopped by, but DonerG in Irvine really impressed me. The food is simple, fresh, and full of flavor, exactly the kind of comfort meal I look for when traveling. I had the Doner Kebab Plate with rice, and everything from the seasoning to the portion felt well-balanced. Not heavy, not bland, just right. The garlic sauce especially reminded me of home, the kind of flavor you don't usually find in fast-casual spots. The staff were kind and respectful, and the place was clean and organized. It's a small detail, but when you come from a culture where hospitality matters, you notice when it's done properly. I'll definitely come back again when I'm in Irvine. Sometimes it's the unexpected places that leave the best impression. For anyone looking for something fast but still refined and full of flavor, I highly recommend this spot. Allah ybarek, I'll definitely be returning next time I'm in town. read more

DonerG - Doner sandwich. Mixed meat - Mediterranean Near Me - Irvine, California

I have been coming here for lunch for years. They've gotten better over the past year, I'm not sure if it's new management or what, but they are doing great. I love the pita sandwich and ability to customize it. The french fries and a soda for five dollars is super expensive, but the fries are very good. The fries always come out in a plastic container. This ends up steaming the fries and removing the crispy texture. This is something they should take into account. No one likes steamed french fries. Staff is always super friendly even on a rushed busy lunch day. Seating outside is awesome. We live in California and we should be outside more often. Free parking! read more

Classic doner place! My family liked it! Almost as good as doner kebap in Istanbul! Authentic, clean and fast!
