I've been a bad boy. I let my 2007 Vespa GTS sit in the neighbors garage for eight years. I decided…read moreto yank it out and get that bad boy going again. I called my local Vespa dealer and they didn't wanna work on anything over 10 years old. But I got lucky, I found Alby at Sensible Repair Solutions. Located in Lake St. Louis just off interstate 70 they work out of a storage unit along with dozens of other businesses. The nice thing is, this helps keep the price down, but they still deliver quality work. I'm extremely happy with the job they did for me, I needed my gas tank flushed a tuneup, an oil change, and I needed my scoot gone through from front to back top to bottom and that's exactly what they did. I'm happy to have my Vespa running again and I couldn't be happier with the Service. Thank you!

yelp reviews are not completely true they only allow the reviews of those who use the app…read morecontinuously. I have had several positive reviews on my business yelp site that came from yelp customers. but never post because they don't frequently use the app to review businesses. yelp is truly a pay to play service. I've used alby several times and have never had any issues, he is to the book or doesn't do it. some people would find that breaking the rules is inconvenient and I can see how that would affect the reviewing process. simply put if you want a cheeseburger you don't go to an Italian restaurant. I recommend Alby to everybody that I can

One employee, Tom Joseph, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Didn't try to pressure us into anything and provided several different options for us! We didn't get that at some of the other shops... guess who will coming back??

Everything I'm about to say in this review, although unbelievable, is completely true. Last year I…read morewas looking at a 2024 streetglide CVO on the showroom floor. It was still brand new with 45 miles on it. None of the bikes on the showroom floor are marked as to price. I asked the salesman about the price and he said, "they don't tell us that. I'll have to get my manager." The manager came over and quoted me a price of 46,000 dollars. I thought that was high because I could have bought a 2026 for that price. He proceeded to run a credit check based on this price. I didn't buy that day. I went home and looked at their website that night and found the bike listed at 39000 dollars. Soon after, I went back to the store and angrily confronted management about their predatory pricing practices. The general manager was apologetic but did not explain the pricing discrepancy. I still did not purchase. Fast forward to May of this year. The dealership continuously called me to try to get me to purchase a bike. They had dropped the price to 36000 and I purchased the bike. On the day I picked it up I purchased several accessories that totaled around 4,000 dollars. The only thing that was not in stock were slip on mufflers they had to order. I paid for these mufflers that day. Two and a half weeks later I called to ask about the mufflers and was told they had been there over a week. No one bothered to call me. I went to pick up the mufflers and the parts guy sat them on the counter. I told him that I had requested to keep the passenger pegs when they had replaced them with floorboards. He went in the back to look for them and after about 10 minutes I got tired of waiting so I picked up the mufflers and left. When I got home the parts guy called me and accused me of taking the mufflers without paying. Fast forward to my break in service. They told me I was due for a brake flush and started quoting labor rates. I tried to tell the lady that I had just purchased the bike a couple months prior and besides it had been on a climate controlled showroom floor for two years. She just said, "so you don't want us to do it?" I said if you want to do it knock yourself out but I'm not paying. She looked at me like a deer in the headlights and I finally said, "let me talk to your general manager." It took all that to resolve this issue. Fast forward 2500 miles. I was cleaning my bike and decided to check the oil. I saw it was extremely low. I took the bike in to the dealership and the service manager told me that it was 1.5 quarts low. He said this was within Harley specs, but told me he wanted to do an oil consumption test and told me to ride 500 miles and bring it back. Fast forward to today. I took the bike back in to see how much oil it had burned. Prior to service checking it, I requested that they document the 1.5 quarts it had burned in the 2500 miles following break in service on the service ticket. He refused. He wouldn't tell me why even though I kept asking. The service manager ended up telling me that it hadn't burned any oil during the 500 mile consumption test. I asked him how that was possible. He began getting visibly angry and said, "I don't know, I'm not a technician." But honestly I think we both know. Now I own a new 36000 dollar bike that I am going into winter with and a bunch of serious questions that this dealership will not answer. Did I just ride 2500 miles a quart and a half low? If so, did I damage it? Is it still burning oil? Did it ever burn oil? Why wouldn't the service mgr document the missing oil? How is this place still in business? Thankfully there are other dealerships in the area that I have been talking to and trust that have offered to start over from scratch. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. We all ride and we gotta look out for each other. This is me looking out for you. I will never go back there and I am throwing away all my STL HD merchandise because I refuse to be a walking billboard for this place.
