I just used John at Done Rite Carpet Care for my high-traffic showroom and lobby. The carpet had just been cleaned by another company a few months earlier and we were seeing huge stains come up. Come to find out, there was too much detergent used previously and it wasn't stains but dirt sticking to the leftover detergent. John was very thorough and took the time to make our carpet look so much better. We will definitely have John back again to keep our carpets looking good as new! read more

John came out and cleaned the carpets at our business, they were in bad shape with weird splotchy stains and clear traffic area dirt. It was a great experience, he explained why the stains "just appeared" and let us know what the procedure would be to correct. Turns out it was the previous carpet cleaner using too much detergent. He spend a couple hours on the carpets and they look fantastic, definitely a much nicer impression for our customers. We will use Done Rite in the future and I highly recommend John for his knowledge, efficiency and pricing. It was well worth having our carpets cleaned. read more

It has been about four years at one of my rentals with granite counters since it had been installed and about seven years since I moved into my house when my travertine countertops were sealed. Since the former is a rental I've been wanting to get it cleaned and resealed as we usually find more wear and tear on rental properties. I was referred to John by Felipe Bermudez of Timeless Floor Company. John was prompt in returning my calls and we set an appointment. He said that after he took a look at the counters he would give me an estimate and if I wanted he could start right away. That's what he did and his estimates were in line with what I was expecting to pay. He did a thorough job at both properties removing hard water deposits on the granite kitchen counter and restoring the life to the travertine which had lost a lot of luster over the years, especially near the stove area. When he was done he gave it the cloth toss test and whereas before the cloth almost stuck on contact at that area, instead it now glided across like Tom Cruise across the hallway floor in Risky Business. I was very pleased. Although this was the first time that I had worked with John I found him to very personable while he focused on his work. He was done in about an hour with each property and left everything clean when he left. He gave me a flyer about his company and apparently they do more than sealing stone work whether it's counters or floors. They also clean upholstery, mattresses, rugs, stain guard fabrics, grout cleaning, all types of floor cleaning, pet odor decontamination, carpet repairs and stretching, air duct cleaning along with allergy relief treatment for the home and more. He's located in Thousand Oaks and my properties are located in Santa Paula and Ventura so he does travel a little farther than as indicated in the Yelp map. Give him a try! read more

Excellent response, very dependable, positive experience and the best cleaning I have had. Good quality products used and did not leave carpets too damp. Also, excellent job and value. John even did my dog's bed read more

Great guys - reasonably priced, punctual, polite, knowledgable and considerate. They did our entire ducting system, and rolled in a great price for the carpets too - 25% cheaper than our previous contractors. They also specialise in laminate floor deep cleaning and sealing - which many carpet companies do not. I didn't get mine done this time, but will next time for sure. Definitely will use them again. read more

John and the Done Rite crew have been cleaning my same old carpets for years. I always think ok it's time to replace them due to kids and pet stains etc. Done Rite comes in and they look great. I tried doing it myself and everything was wet forever. The worst is leaky hoses running through your home, wet carpets and stains reappearing. John and the crew clean the carpets as professionals they are the best in Conejo Valley and beyond hands down. read more

Okay Ventura/Gold Coast region. This is your go to carpet (and a lot of other stuff--check their site) cleaner. Weigh the following in any order that appeals to you: knowledgeable about fabrics, techniques and what's needed, thorough, prompt, considerate, reliable, nice. Local folks who don't simply do a job--they're all about what they do, and very genuinely so. An asset and a find. read more

I can't express how impressed we are with this company! We brought them in to give us an estimate on a carpet cleaning to get rid of a pet odor problem that had grown HUGE. They gave us an honest assessment of the situation, and indicated that they could give it their best shot, but that they couldn't guarantee that they could successfully fix our problem. Not wanting to replace our carpet, we agreed on a very fair price and they went to work. They were in our house off and on for the next four days, cleaning and re-cleaning carpets, replacing padding, and sealing the sub-floors. They also cleaned the carpets in the rest of the house while they were at it, and re-stretched the carpet in our larger rooms. They were great! John and Tony were considerate of our time and our space, and worked with us to ensure that their schedule met ours. They were on-time, courteous, and always took the time to answer our questions and respond to our (sometimes annoying) requests. In the end, we have rooms that we can use again! Their results exceeded our expectations, and they were a pleasure to have in our home. We'll definitely be using them from now on! read more

This is the only company you should be using to clean your carpet! I have had John's team clean my home and office on several occasions. Professional, careful with your belongings and very polite! read more

John cleaned the carpet in our master bedroom, hallways and stairs. It turned out beautifully, like new. We live close to the beach so appreciated the process he used which allowed the carpet to dry quicker. We also had him clean the surfaces of a rental house we own. He was able to remove dirt from carpet which a previous carpet cleaner wasn't able to. The kitchen tile counter grout is white again. The wood laminate floor is clean and protected and love the way the linoleum has a beautiful clean protected shine. John is very professional and does outstanding work! read more

I met John several months ago while he was working on one of my clients carpets as they were getting ready to move out of their home. The client had used a couple of carpet cleaning companies to try and remove a stubborn stain but were unable to do so. John was successful at removing the stain and I was impressed. I got one of his business cards and kept it in case I needed to give him a call. Just last week I called John to come out and clean the carpet in my truck. Tony came out and did the cleaning and did a great job. He got rid of the old dog smell, from an old dog, and it cleaned up better than I expected. He was also successful in removing the stains that were throughout. My truck looks and smells great! Thanks John and Tony! read more

I have a rental condo that I needed to spruce up so I rented a cleaning machine and did it myself. The results were less than stellar to say the least. I contacted John Gray from Done Rite Carpet Care an he cleaned the carpet so it looked like new and it showed great to prospective tenants read more

All I can say is that Done Rite really does what they say they are going to do. John and his team are honest and straight forward. I thought I was going to have to buy new carpet and wood flooring in my place of business. But after they cleaned the floors, I was absolutely amazed to say the least. My carpet had no stains and my wood flooring had a brilliant shine that it has never had. I was very impressed!! So thank you John. You will not be disappointed with their service. He is the most sincere and professional business owner I have ever met! read more

I wouldn't have my carpets cleaned by any other company!!

Had my carpet cleaned last week by John Gray of Done Rite. Amazing!! I am ecstatic with the results. I used a big name carpet cleaning company before and paid a lot of money for very poor results. I would never use that company again. But Done Rite, now they do it right! John took his time, was very thorough and careful. He explained the "green" products he uses and the process my particular carpet needed, which was a "correction" cleaning. The other company had left so much detergent in my carpet that it was gray. After John's cleaning/treatment and stain guard process, my carpet looks bright, fresh and there is no chemical odor at all. I HIGHLY recommend this professional, friendly firm and will use them again and again. read more

I was very happy with these guys! Called on a Tuesday and they came on Thursday, very professional, our carpets came out great and gave us a fair price. We'll definitely use them again! Thanks John! read more

As someone that was a carpet cleaner for 4 years, I was not all that impressed. Need to vacuum before you start the job, 2 jet floor wand is not as effective as a 6 jet and a poor quality furniture tool - which soaked the couch, and no blower to increase the drying time. They need better training and better cleaning equipment. There are pages of carpet cleaners out there, I am not sold on this company as being the best. read more

Under no circumstances would I recommend this company for carpet repair. A guy comes out an gives me an estimate and tells me the pricing and that his guys can do the repairs. I schedule a day to do the repairs; move all the furniture in the rooms; they show up late in the afternoon and the repair guys tells me they can't do the work. So I wasted a day of work; moved several furniture pieces for nothing. Poor customer service and unreliable company. read more

On time, professional, priced reasonably, no hidden fees, good work, nice people.

I'm a completely satisfied customer. This company is professional, goes above and beyond expectations, and has great customer service. I used them for a rental property that had significant wear/stains on the carpet. The quote was very competitive and the service representative was punctual and very helpful. The finished product almost made the carpet look new again. They guaranteed their work and came back out after the typical 30 day window to re-clean a couple stains that started to come back. This company is all about complete customer satisfaction! Well done! read more

Run not walk away and go to a reputable provider of carpet care. They show up late, do a mediocre job at best and then want to dump their waste water down your public access sewer system without YOUR approval. It cost us about a $600 sewer bill to clean the line out and remove the carpet fiber debris. The owner, MR GRAY, was NOT available to settle up and kept dodging us for weeks. When his attorney finally contacted us the insisted on our signature on a "general release" before paying us back the funds for the repairs. He indicated they always dump waste water in the public systems...since if he did it any other way it would be more $$$ for US. We disputed the costs with our credit card and got our money from the credit card company but who wants those type of headaches. Just to put it in perspective we have been customers for several years and they did all our rentals so we would expect if you are just an occasional user you would GET LESS THAN NOTHING so shop elsewhere,. His ads are all talk and he does not care about you as the customer or the environment. GONGED FOR US! read more
