It has been about four years at one of my rentals with granite counters since it had been installed and about seven years since I moved into my house when my travertine countertops were sealed. Since the former is a rental I've been wanting to get it cleaned and resealed as we usually find more wear and tear on rental properties. I was referred to John by Felipe Bermudez of Timeless Floor Company. John was prompt in returning my calls and we set an appointment. He said that after he took a look at the counters he would give me an estimate and if I wanted he could start right away. That's what he did and his estimates were in line with what I was expecting to pay. He did a thorough job at both properties removing hard water deposits on the granite kitchen counter and restoring the life to the travertine which had lost a lot of luster over the years, especially near the stove area. When he was done he gave it the cloth toss test and whereas before the cloth almost stuck on contact at that area, instead it now glided across like Tom Cruise across the hallway floor in Risky Business. I was very pleased. Although this was the first time that I had worked with John I found him to very personable while he focused on his work. He was done in about an hour with each property and left everything clean when he left. He gave me a flyer about his company and apparently they do more than sealing stone work whether it's counters or floors. They also clean upholstery, mattresses, rugs, stain guard fabrics, grout cleaning, all types of floor cleaning, pet odor decontamination, carpet repairs and stretching, air duct cleaning along with allergy relief treatment for the home and more. John cleaned the carpet in our master bedroom, hallways and stairs. It turned out beautifully, like new. We live close to the beach so appreciated the process he used which allowed the carpet to dry quicker. We also had him clean the surfaces of a rental house we own. I can't express how impressed we are with this company! We brought them in to give us an estimate on a carpet cleaning to get rid of a pet odor problem that had grown HUGE. They gave us an honest assessment of the situation, and indicated that they could give it their best shot, but that they couldn't guarantee that they could successfully fix our problem. Not wanting to replace our carpet, we agreed on a very fair price and they went to work. They were in our house off and on for the next four days, cleaning and re-cleaning carpets, replacing padding, and sealing the sub-floors. I met John several months ago while he was working on one of my clients carpets as they were getting ready to move out of their home. As someone that was a carpet cleaner for 4 years, I was not all that impressed. Need to vacuum before you start the job, 2 jet floor wand is not as effective as a 6 jet and a poor quality furniture tool - which soaked the couch, and no blower to increase the drying time. They need better training and better cleaning equipment. There are pages of carpet cleaners out there, I am not sold on this company as being the best. read more

Under no circumstances would I recommend this company for carpet repair. A guy comes out an gives me an estimate and tells me the pricing and that his guys can do the repairs. I schedule a day to do the repairs; move all the furniture in the rooms; they show up late in the afternoon and the repair guys tells me they can't do the work. Run not walk away and go to a reputable provider of carpet care. They show up late, do a mediocre job at best and then want to dump their waste water down your public access sewer system without YOUR approval. It cost us about a $600 sewer bill to clean the line out and remove the carpet fiber debris. The owner, MR GRAY, was NOT available to settle up and kept dodging us for weeks. When his attorney finally contacted us the insisted on our signature on a "general release" before paying us back the funds for the repairs. He indicated they always dump waste water in the public systems...since if he did it any other way it would be more $$$ for US. We disputed the costs with our credit card and got our money from the credit card company but who wants those type of headaches. Just to put it in perspective we have been customers for several years and they did all our rentals so we would expect if you are just an occasional user you would GET LESS THAN NOTHING so shop elsewhere,. His ads are all talk and he does not care about you as the customer or the environment. GONGED FOR US! read more
