I have been with the dealership for over 2 years. I had previously sent friends to buy cars as well because they paint a very pretty picture of empathy and kindness. One of the owners is sexist and ignores me when I'm 2 feet away because I am a female. I had to go around this guys back to get my car in the first place because he was so negative. They sold my the car and washed their hands. This car has one previous owner and less then 100k on it. I haven't even driven more then 7k for a whole year. I have transmission issues, electrical issues for all my windows. My ac doesn't work and the very first time I drove the car, it over heated and shut off because the coolant tank had issues. They installed a new tank and now it's worse. I smell burnt coolant when I turn off my car, the car won't shift out of first gear without draggging. I go to get my car looked at and again the owner disregarded me while the secretary tried to convince him to help me. I am looking into suing for child endangerment. I have a 6 month old and 3 other kids I take care of by myself. They know this and do not care. If I had a choice not to drive my car I would but I don't have that option. About 7 months ago I started financing a 2012 Toyota Sienna from these people, it came with a "extended warranty" well a few months into me having it the check engine light came on, brought it there, THEY JUST SHUT OFF MY LIGHT! It was back on THE SAME DAY, few months after that MY TRANSMISSION BLEW! They had it at their shop for about a month, "towed it to the best transmission shop around" to only have my van sitting there for another month AND COUNTING, they haven't even touched my vehicle yet! They don't even deserve the one star. Please, please, please, please, please, please trust the majority of reviews and NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE. I live in Taunton, MA, 35 miles from the dealership! I came here because it was "recommended" to me. The recommend-er just happened to know the salesmen. Let's talk about how many times I ended up going back and forth to Providence for this crap car.... TEN. TEN FREAKIN' TIMES. Would you like to know why? First: My father called and asked how late they were open. They said seven, so my dad and I left our hour and sat in rush hour traffic. What happened when we got there? Mark (an employee) informed us that they had nothing in our price range on the lot, and that I'd have to go back tomorrow to see the other lot. Second: I went to the other lot and picked out my 2003 Dodge Neon and put a $100 deposit on it. Third: Picked up my first car! yaaaaay! but no, not yay, you'll find out why. Forth: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, DAYS AFTER BUYING. Fifth: After dropping off my car to be repaired, I went home, thinking it would be a few days. Instead of telling me that it would be done in a few hours, they waited until I got home to call and say I could come back. 60 miles in one repair trip. Sixth: CHECK ENGINE CAME BACK ON! I really should have started to expect their bullshit by then. Seventh: I called multiple times to see if the car was done. Then, like what I said before, I ended up going back the same day because they don't give a damn about gas and it's cost. Eighth: ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON! Third time. Seriously? Ninth: This time, I didn't bother calling to see if the car was fixed, I made sure I gave them most of Monday, ALL of Tuesday, and most of Wednesday to fix it. So, I picked it on Wednesday about a half hour before closing. Mark said he was sure we would have no problems, so I left. I went to the Providence Place Mall (NOT FAR!) for about an hour, when I turned my car back on, what do you know? IT'S BACK ON! FOURTH TIME. Even though it was only miles away, I couldn't return the car because of the time. Tenth: I had to return (lemon-law) my car, which I was originally EXTREMELY excited about, and they gave me a full refund, along with the sales tax. Mind you, throughout the whole engine light ordeal, I kept going to Auto Zone to have them scan the check engine light. All four times, the same code came up (p0441), meaning they never fixed it. I kept going back for literally the same problem. So, aside from that, what else was wrong? Oh... maybe my title? Yes, my title. I didn't think I had to ask if a title was clean or not, but at Donald's you do! They told me nothing about my title and I assumed it was clean. But, upon going to the registry, they informed me that my title was reconstructed. My car had, at one point, been a TOTAL LOSS. What could I do though? I decided "It runs fine, might as well not complain". But, I shouldn't have decided that so fast! As I mentioned earlier, I had engine light problems. Every time I went to Auto Zone, they told me the same thing every time (as I said earlier), the EVAP system. Every time I went back to Donald's to have them repair my car, then never once apologized for the inconvenience. The only time they apologized was to my father on the third time we dropped it off. Mind you, I was the sole owner of the car. Not him. They had no reason to never apologize to me. When they saw a young girl, they didn't give a damn. But, when they saw a man, they immediately had respect. I was promised that my neon would pass Massachusetts inspection, but I wanted to wait the full allotted week to get one, thank god for that. As you probably guessed, the engine light prevented it and I got a rejection sticker. Every time I went back, they asked me if it passed inspection. I could immediately tell that they weren't going to fix it if it had a sticker. Not only that, but they didn't give me a full warranty. They would only pay 50% labor/parts, not 100%, like most good auto dealers. Mind you, I am a new driver, and my neon was meant for a new driver. I thought these people were better than selling a shit car to a minor, but they're not. If you're even thinking of buying a car from here... don't. I thought that my experience would be different, that just because a couple of people had a bad experience didn't have to mean I would too. But, I promise you, no matter who you are, your experience at Donald's will be nothing but miserable. read more

Buying a used vehicle is tough and not everything may be perfect, however after working with the Family owned Dealer here the staff will make everything work in the long run. I purchased my vehicle a while ago and yes I have needed some things but used vehicles may need things along the way. Typically normal maintenance things and getting advice from where your journey began with your vehicle began does nothing but maintains rapport for when you need another vehicle. I went into Donald's Car Corner because I was car shopping, and I was looking around and the salesman Craig came out to help me. I had a lot of questions to ask, and he answered all of them. As I was looking around I found a vehicle I liked, it was a Honda Accord. I filled the finance application with the Finance manager his name is Paul, and I was pre-approved with the bank. I was already excited walking in and getting great service, finding a vehicle I really liked also getting an approval from the bank that was perfect. I was able to pick up my car the day after, the vehicle had no lights on, the car was cleaned, the tank was full.I was happy I made the choice of going to Donald's Car Corner to purchase a vehicle. STAY AWAY! The other reviews are correct when they say that Donald's Car Corner is terrible. My father and sister purchased a vehicle from here. The dealership was recommended by a cousin of one of the employees. After purchasing a Dodge Neon 2003 from Donald's, the check engine light came on four times. Each time we brought it back and finally decided we did not trust this dealership and had had enough. I wasted over $100 in gas and hours of my time bringing my sister to the dealership to have the car fixed. We ended up having to return the vehicle. When my sister purchased the vehicle, it seemed to run fine. She test drove it and so did my father. The salesman, Mark, convinced them that they were buying a great car for a low price. They put a deposit on the vehicle on June 28, 2014. The car was purchased on July 1, 2014. On July 3, my sister and I went to the RMV to register the vehicle. When we got there, we were told the title was not clean and that it had to be registered as reconstructed. Mark, the salesman at Donald's, NEVER mentioned this. The car was purchased under the belief that it had a clean title. We decided to register the car anyway. On July 7, 2014, the check engine light turned on for the first time. We took the car to Auto Zone and had the check engine light diagnosed. We took the car to Donald's that day and they called the same day saying it was fixed. We took the car back to Donald's another two times because the check engine light continued to turn back on. The final time the check engine light came on we decided that the car was junk and we needed to return it. Aside from the check engine light turning on, the car doors were automatically unlocking and locking themselves when the car was in use AND when the car was off. The car also kept saying that a door was open, even if there were no doors open. I called the Attorney General and the Dealers Association to report them and see if we could get our money back. Donald's Car Corner called us once they were contacted by the Dealer's Association and told us we could pick out another car on the lot or return the car for a refund. We absolutely took the refund. To make matters even worse, no one at Donald's ever apologized to us for the problems we were experiencing and they were extremely rude each time we brought the car back to be repaired. Overall, Donald's Car Corner is unprofessional and unreliable. Even the neighborhood where Donald's is located is a dump. Please, spare yourself from a terrible experience. This place is a shame run by shady liars. I recently bought my car here and made it clear that I was purchasing the vehicle to safely transport my infant. Of course they said nothing was wrong with the car. As I took it for a test drive I observed multiple problems which they agreed to fix, like the brakes, an OIL CHANGE, Magically a day or two later the check engine came on and from there they had the car longer than I did due to them resetting the light multiple times and hoping it would go away. Eventually they found that one of the catalytic converters was bad and they replaced it. A month later I took my car to a real mechanic and found that not only were the flex pipes connecting other catalytic converter rusted through causing an exhaust leak into the vehicle the exhaust manifold was also cracked causing more poisonous fumes to be pulled into the car when the air was turned on. I would think that when they checked the catalytic converters to see what was throwing on the engine light that these two problems would have been easily found. I can accept the fact that somehow the exhaust manifold may have cracked after the purchase but there's no way possible that in a month BOTH flex pipes rusted through to cause a leak. On top of that I asked to have the steering and suspension checked because there were strange popping noises and I was told that I needed to replace all the struts and mounts as well as two tires. Oh and of course the brakes that they said they fixed also started squeaking at the same time. I find it remarkable that one month after purchase magically the car starts to fall apart. I took the car to two separate mechanics who both said they suspected foul play. Not to mention the fact that they passed the cars inspection in September and in October there's no way it would have. I also purchased the "warranty" for $1200 just in case something like this happened because it was after all a used car. To replace the exhaust manifold and the flex pipes with the catalytic converts it cost me just under $1200.....the warranty paid for $289 and I had to pay everything out of pocket and I'm waiting on them to send me a check in the mail... they do not cover the struts which I got an estimate of $800 or tires which cost $150+ for each tire. This dealership is not trust worthy and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. If you decide to make the same mistake that I did and actually purchase a car from here then for the love of God GET IT CHECKED OUT BY YOUR MECHANIC as these thieves will say anything to avoid correctly fixing your vehicle. My girlfriend bought a car at the Pre-Owned Factory in Attleboro a couple months before I did and they fixed every single thing in her car and made sure that they gave her a reliable vehicle. Drove 400 miles to check out a rare car that Donald's had on their lot, a car I am very interested in. Came to terms over the phone, they faxed a purchase and sale to my bank, I took the loan and drove down to buy the car I was interested in. The price was right and terms agreed on. When I arrived, the owner, Dean, immediately went back on those terms. After being told the car was in perfect shape over the phone, with no defects, I found that it was really not true. ABS light was on, tires were bald, rust coming in and entirely repainted after being in an obvious accident. I negotiated directly with the owner, who essentially told me his staff doesn't know anything, especially about cars. Then he tried to pull a fast one with the title to my trade and the car I was considering buying. Ok fine...made some calls and made sure I was covered legally with ownership, went back in to take the deal. Dean then told me that the deal was actually $2000 than we had agreed on. Waste of 13 hours, gas money and added that many more miles to my car. Maybe I should have realized when I pulled up and their techs were draining gas onto the concrete that I shouldn't do business there. Take my advice, the best deal is a GOOD car from GOOD people. I'm sorry to read so many awful reviews. The experiences detailed were so opposite mine I am wondering if these people went to the same dealership! I purchased my car, an Infiniti g20, at Donald's five years ago. I would say I have an intermediate knowledge of autos, and took it for a test ride, checked the engine, fluidis, etc. I determined all was within satisfactory parameters. I discussed price, put a small downpayment, and returned with the balance a couple of days later. I spoke with all of the people mentioned. I found everyone to be personable and honest. I am STILL driving this car today. I have made minor repairs through the years like alternator, struts etc. I change oil every 3000 miles faithfully. I have recently gone back to Donald's to look for another car, as my faithful Infiniti approaches 20 years old. I will not hesitate to purchase another car from Donald's after doing a reasonable inspection, as anyone should when considering a used car. read more
