After multiple unanswered attempts to obtain my dental records from Dr. Heidari, it took my mother threatening to involve the dental board for them to respond, and even then, they only sent an invoice for TMJ treatment. My dental notes from Dr. Heidari are critical to moving forward on finding a new Dr. to help me, yet they were never provided. This lack of response makes me feel that I was abandoned as a patient. Dr. Heidari's failure to release my dental records has directly impacted my ability to demonstrate the importance of wearing my TMJ splint to dentists who have dismissed me. the dental records should include Dr. Heidari's notes and 3D imaging of my jaw. Its that simple. It seems as though dr. h just wants patients to spend more money here.

He immediately tapped on my front tooth and stated that a nerve had died, then pointed out yellow discoloration that I had never previously noticed. He commented, "Well now you will, especially in pictures," which felt unnecessary and unsettling. I still do not see the discoloration he described. The conversation quickly shifted toward cosmetic treatment options and ways my dual insurance could be billed. The focus felt more financial and cosmetic than educational or patient-centered. I left feeling self-conscious about my teeth and uncomfortable with how the interaction was handled.
