We are soooo Appreciative & grateful to have such a Quality Restaurant up here in the Mountains. The food is always A+, and delivered super quick. My favorite options are the Flautas with rice and Beans for $12.50, and the Chile Verde. The salsa doesn't have much of a kick but that's ok. We had just finished up a little fishing trip are were looking for a lunch spot. Don Sombrero had popped up as a recommendation on here so we decided to give this spot a try. The restaurant is cute and welcoming. The staff were so sweet and friendly (felt like having a meal with family they were so prompt and kind) The food was so fresh, so delicious, and great portions too!! I ordered the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, the food was so filling and I was so hungry unfortunately I forgot to snap a photo but believe me the food was delicious and I devoured the entire thing. We weren't thrilled...the server had a no can do attitude on everything we and others ask..the fajitas weren't good..the Jamaica cost $5.00 a small cup each time and was like watered down kool-aid...the atmosphere was boring no music or tv...sorry to say LA Bikina is wayyyy better!! Oh where do I begin! This WAS my favorite restaurant in the Valley Until last Wednesday 3 of us went out for food my Boyfriend ordered Fajitas which came on a plate not a hot plate like everywhere else they do, fine we could look past that. My girlfriend and I both ordered Chicken Taco plates both were cold she sent hers back I was gonna tough it out, hers came back looked like it had steam but was still Luke warm she picked through it barely eating. I mixed mine together like I always do got through almost half of my food and there's a hair in my mouth I pull it out and it's a long hair I laid it down so I could show her after I got out of the bathroom from loosing my lunch. She finally comes back to the table when she sees my BF looking for her, I show her the hair and says it's not mine maybe it's yours, my hair was in tight braids and not that color nor the color of my friends hair and to long to be my boyfriends hair. With an attitude she says well what do you want me to do..... She then says You ate half and she asked which Taco was the hair in knowing it was all mixed together. I told her the other half is in YOUR bathroom she did not care said I'm charging you both half price so $50 later for 3 unfinished plates (no one could finish theirs after the hair and me throwing up my food) she treated is horrible like it was our fault or we're trying to get something for nothing. Those of You who me know I've worked in the Bar and restaurant business up here for 25yrs and I used to work with her husband. I would never do anything like that! I'm disgusted, disappointed and now angry I've been sick since. read more

Don't go there on a Sunday. My wife and I went there a few times and enjoyed our selves. We like Mexican food, the place was nice, the people were friendly. Then we went on a Sunday. Note that all this was pre-pandemic. That Sunday was horrible for one reason only: The customers would not control their children. They acted like it was their living room. Kids running all over and yelling, and the parents were just as loud. I could not hear my wife sitting just across that small table we were at. This is an awesome Mexican restaurant in Bodfish. My new favorite is their Camarones a la Diabla burrito. It's hot and spicy, just the way I love it. There are quite a few large shrimp in it. They also have normal flat corn tortilla tostada's. The selection of Mexican beers is great too. I really like the friendly staff too. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the KRV area. read more

I was kind of surprised our service wasn't because my husband had went a week prior with his work crew and was treated very nicely. All in all the food was pretty good, there was a party of 7 of us and (4 adults and three little's), we all got something different and all enjoyed out food. Some cons were that there is NO AC in the place and when its 100 degrees outside it is miserable to sit in a small hot restaurant, you don't really enjoy your time. I also didn't like the one free refill only because they pour from cans. If its that hot out maybe offer unlimited refills. read more
