I stopped by the Taco Bell this past Monday (4/27/26) around 9:00 PM, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had at any Taco Bell. The service was outstanding--friendly, fast, and you could tell the team actually cared about doing things right, even later in the evening. What really stood out was the food. Everything looked exactly like it does on the menu--clean, well-prepared, and not thrown together. That's rare for fast food, especially at night. Huge shoutout to the crew working that shift--you guys absolutely nailed it. We live in Bakersfield but I can guarantee that anytime we drive through Lake Isabella (which is more often than not) we will definitely be making a stop there. We will 100% definitely be back. It's become a mechanical experience. Menu is on two screen operated with confusing menu choices, it took me 15 + minutes to figure out how to order. None of the old choices were on the choice list. When I was able to order it was al-la-cart and food ordered was Not prepared like old se l sections. I just took a cross country, California to Florida and back.. not one Taco Bell's in any of the states I stopped at did I have such an experience! The cheesy bean and rice burritos I got were very small compared to what I normally would get they failed to put any nacho cheese or rice and one bite worth of jalapeno sauce I added steak and 4 pieces were so chewy I couldn't even chew it they are intentionally not putting ingredients in my food so I'm contacting corporate and never going to back. Horrible Taco Bell, place is filthy, floor is sticky. Prep area had food and wrappers all over the floor. After paying for food I walked out after 25 minutes. I wouldn't have eaten anything anyway after watching the preparation of the food and the filthy work stations and floor. All the trash receptacles were completely full. Terrible service, the staff didn't communicate well during some issue the Taco Bell was having and waisted my time. I originally went in to get food and was told the lobby was closed. I Ordered online. Got to the Isabella location and stood there for 4 minutes until one of the 5 employees finally acknowledged me. Then they preceded to help the person behind me first. I said I was in line first and I ordered on line. The male manager on duty goes and looks on the food screens and says you did not order. I had to tell him how to do his job. I told him he needed to get my name to even start the order. Then he tells me he is out of large cups. So I said give me 2 cups he says he can't so then I asked for a refund he says he can't. I have never felt compelled to leave a positive review for a fast food place. This is definitely a first. So my Boyfriend and I were staying nearby when we got hungry. We love Taco Bell. However this Taco Bell was exceptional. We went at 11 PM, the drive-through was super fast, and when we got back to our hotel we realized all of our food literally looked like the pictures. This Taco Bell needs a lot of improvement. I have gone 2 times. First time I ordered a grilled stuffed burrito and got a regular burrito. The second time I specified please make sure I get a grilled stuffed burrito. Both times I got the burritos they were terrible. It should be layered with the toppings. Not sour cream and guacamole and pico on one side of the burrito and the other side just has rice and beans. Highly recommend better management. read more

I'm going to start out by saying that this could've be a four star review because I have experienced some inconsistencies in my orders or flat out been given the wrong order. However the customer service has been amazing! Alisa is very kind and has never been less than awesome when I come in. Jamie is always going the extra mile to make sure the customers are happy, I have experienced this more than once. And Peggy always puts a smile on my face.
