I asked if only one what one should I try, one said definitely the Beef Piccadillo and the other said the Pork Pibil. I was full, so I opted for the Beef! Once home, I bit into a pocket of flavorful goodness! Oh my and that hot sauce!!! Yum!!! My only regret was not ordering more! I'd like to think they'd heat up pretty good in an air fryer. Idk but it's a good question for them next time. Or maybe sell frozen hahaha either way I hope they come back sooner than later, so I can try the Pork and others.

I ordered beef empanadas for my husband and a veggie empanada for myself. The veggie empanada had spinach and cheese, and it was a big portion. It was crispy and hot and came with a spicy sauce (I didn't need much of the sauce). My husband was impressed with his empanada too. He reheated one in the air fryer, and it tasted fresh a few hours later. The wait was worth it, and Empanada Cuisines sold out at our neighborhood. They post their schedule on Facebook, and I hope they come to Street Food Finder soon so I can track them down easily.

They also need to have a way of labeling which empanada is which because they all look identical from the outside & you must bite into it to find out what the filling is...that can be inconvenient. also, they could and should have some small hot sauce, packets or other condiments available to take with you. They also need paper bags that fit their containers so you can stack and bring them to the beach. It's inconvenient to walk and hold individual containers while getting to wherever you're going. after all the best/unique part about empanadas are that they are supposed to be convenient and easy to deal with.

They have a really nice setup. We enjoyed some of their delicious beverages. I had the guanábana (soursop) juice and I tried my date's mint lemonade and both were delicious. I couldn't pass up on the sancocho. I went with the smaller portion and it was DELICIOUS. Absolute perfection. I also had their lunch special which was pork, rice, and salad. It was excellent. My companion had the lunch steak and it was wonderful as well. The food and drinks are appropriately priced. The staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. We even got a cup of their Colombian coffee to go. This restaurant is a total gem. Check it out!

Both were great, just as they were the other few times I've been here. The chimichurri sauce is good too. Though the empanadas are already flavorful by themselves.
