Don pollo has been in the area for many years and it doesn't disappoint. I did the chicken mean and it comes beans, rice, salsa and some potato salad. I loved the rice and the potato salad very tasty. The chicken can be a little crisper but still tasted well. The place may look a little outdated on the inside but its definitely worth a try.

It was a Sunday and I called to make sure they were opened. Yep, until 9:00. It's located in a strip mall behind Harley Davidson, next door to Chicken University, a Korean fried chicken place. I stopped by after a Ducks hockey game, and picked up the $15 family pack; a whole chicken, 3 sides, tortillas and salsa. It's not on the menu but there's a poster on the front window. The chicken was pulled from the spit, and it was piping hot. The sides looked small, but surprisingly it was enough for 2-3 people, especially with the tortillas. I really liked the sides, especially the potato salad. It was really creamy. The rice was a bit dry, but still good. The chicken had a nice citrusy flavor. Juicy and moist. It was REALLY GOOD. I would stop here again. I'd pick up an extra salsa. One isn't enough. The mild is not spicy at all. Dinner was plenty for 2, and was $17 and change, tax included.

Chicken is outstanding. Rice is ok, beans are very good as is their salsa. Better then El Pollo Loco although fewer menu items.

It's not a big restaurant but they spaced it out great and have a great bar, western, Hispanic vibe to the whole place. I loved the artwork and photos with frames. The service was great, between the bartenders, check in and our host we were always tended to and asked how we are enjoying our experience. Now.. when I heard taco buffet... I'll admit I was skeptical. So when my buddie suggested this for our foodie group I figured give it a shot. I'll start by saying ... I'd go every Tuesday lol it was a simple buffet they had every meat you needed, the carne asada was good, the chicken was good, the barbacoa was friggin delicious my favorite was the Al pastor. And the mushrooms ... usually at buffets have dry or oily food and this was pretty damn good to be honest. I think it's a solid business plan to do taco Tuesday like this. On top of all that the mini churros were good, the salsas were delicious. The chips were alright I think that's the only thing that was ok for me but overall I enjoyed myself very much. ALSO!!! The mango margarita!!! PERFECTION!!!!!

OC's Best AYCE Taco Tuesday?!…read more All day Tuesday from 11 am to 10 pm, Revolucion Cantina in downtown Fullerton, CA, is the place to be! It's a taco lover's paradise where you can build your dream tacos--or even nachos with crispy chicharrones. It's wild, and guess what I made? Chicharrón nachos! My no-carb-loving husband was ultra jealous. The options at this taco Tuesday bar are seriously impressive--at least six different proteins, nacho cheese, pozole, all kinds of salsas and toppings, plus four flavors of agua fresca to try. And to top it all off, you can end your meal with crispy, sweet churros! This spot is definitely worth checking out, especially on Tuesdays. Come out and have some fun!

My friends let me know this was a restaurant that Kobe frequently visited and really enjoyed. I thought that was really cool! Huge mamba fan here! Inside is a regular mom and pop type of establishment with lots of seating that is buzzing with lots of people. The line does move fairly quickly but I can see that the place is busy! Especially since we went during lunchtime on a Friday. My friends love this place and recommend I try certain things. I'm not a fan of pork so I opted for the carne asada sope and we also ordered some shredded beef and potato crispy tacos. I enjoyed my food sooooo much! Definitely recommend you come check them out!

Unfortunately, the customer service completely brings the experience down. The staff at the front, who take your order, consistently come across as rude and unwelcoming. It feels like you're bothering them just by being there, which makes the whole interaction uncomfortable. I understand everyone has tough days, but this has been a repeated experience, not just a one-time thing. It's disappointing because the quality of the food deserves better service to match. If the customer service improved, this place would easily be a top spot.

We parked across the street near an intersection with a stop sign. Our table inside had a nice view of the Placentia Water Tower, and it felt somehow relaxing to gaze at it in the distance. I ordered the pork carnitas ($18), which included pico de gallo, rice, refried beans with melted cheese, and three warm tortillas. The portion size was large, and I took a some carnitas home. While the carnitas were tender, they weren't as juicy as I hoped. They provided only three tortillas that lost their warmth quickly in parchment paper. The rice had a good texture that had the right amount of firmness. I also tried the guacamole, which had a somewhat fluffy texture with a pleasantly light and savory flavor. While not affecting my review of this restaurant, I wish they served a mole dish.
