We were visiting Hancock from NYC for a getaway and our car battery died. We were very stressed out. Orall's was there to help us. We called and told them the situation and they told us to come by. We first went to a local auto part store to buy the batter. Unfortunately the battery was the wrong one. Pat, who was servicing our car had the battery we needed in stock. The price and service was amazing. The front office ladies were so nice and friendly. Our stress went from a 10 to zero. read more

Does the AC in your car need to be charged to keep you alive during the summer? Avoid the error of bringing your vehicle to Orall's garage. Apart from charging excessively for the refrigerant, the garage also caused damage to the evaporator coil, which requires me to pay $1260.92 to fix. read more

Don Oralls Garage - Towing Near Me - Hancock, New York

Arrived on time and quickly resolved my car's issue. AAA emergency road service. I would be pleased to recommend this company.

My jeep conked out on Old Route 17 as i was desperately trying to make my way to Oralls based on a recommendation from a passerby. Another good samaritan called them to row me. A third good samaritan from the volunteer fire dept said i was too close to a bend in the road and stayed behind me with the lights flashing until the tow arrived. Turned out the two guys were brothers. At the office, everyone was really nice and let me stay in the office with my dog and cat until i could get a ride. I highly recommend. Everyone was so nice to a stranger from NYC. read more

Outstanding place, blew a tire late on a Friday night and they had me back on the road just after 7am Saturday morning. Super pleasant, pit crew fast and incredibly affordable. Could not recommend any higher. read more

Hit a huge pothole on 17E was luckily able to make the next exit for Hancock and to The Old Bat Factory gas station where a helpful employee told me about Oralls Garage that opened at 8am next morning. I called the garage to see if they wanted to tow me that night or next am and we decided in the morning. Luckily, there was the Delaware Inn next door so got a room for the night. I over inflated my tire the next morning and drove to the garage 1.4miles away and was at Don Oralls Garage before 8am. Patrick took a look at my bent rim with tire partially off and said he thought he could pound it back in shape. He took my car right in and by 10:15am I was back on the road! He also found that one of the tire bolts had snapped so he replaced them all. In and out of the garage for under $150 and in just about 2 hours! I was completely satisfied with their service! Great experience with them! Thank You! read more

Big shot out to Don Oralls' Garage. One of the most pleasant experiences I have ever encountered in my life. There are a few words I would like to use to describe the Don Oralls' garage team. Honesty. Safety. Reliability. I was on my way to visit my son, who is currently in school at Binghamton University, when I had a flat tire. I was stuck in the middle of "no where" with my two daughters on a Saturday afternoon. The team came out and rescued myself and my family. The process was flawless and most off all they made my family feel like their family. I can not recommend this business enough. Thank you all again for your help! God bless you guys! I now have a family in Hancock New York! Donald B. read more

I was stuck in the snow on a back road. The snow was heavy and my truck was a hazard. Pretty much would cause an accident. Someone who lived near by said "You can use my phone if you'd like" I replied "I have no idea who to call at 4:30 in the morning" He replied Don Orall's Garage I believe has 24 hr towing." Well he was right they did. Not only that but because the hazard it posed they came to me amazingly fast. Then when it came to the bill I did not have to give up my first born. Between the service and bill, they are just an amazing company to deal with. "THANK YOU DON ORALL'S" read more

We were driving with our son up to Rochester in his "new" car, a 1996 Jeep, when he broke down. We called AAA and they sent Don Orall's Garage to tow us at 9:30 at night. We could not have been happier with the treatment we received from Don Orall's. The tow truck driver was the owner (sorry, I forgot his name). He brought us right to our hotel. I spoke to him the next morning and was informed that the car broke down due to a minor issue, was charged a very reasonable repair and treated very fairly and very nicely. These situations can be scary, but Don Orall's was beyond reproach. If I were local I would not hesitate to use them regularly! read more

Mysterious noises in my car, far from home in Hancock, NY. The local NAPA dealer recommended Oralls Garage. Despite their heavy work load that day the problem was solved in short order by Jeremy, son of George, the owner of this family business. What looked and sounded to me like a major and expensive repair was dismissed with no charge despite the time Jeremy spent with my car. read more

I was coming back from Oswego with my oldest son when I had a flat tire. Due to the tire being a run flat, I was placed on a flatbed and taken to Oralls Garage. Within 1/2 hour I was back on the road with a new reasonably priced tire. read more

I don't often write reviews, but wanted to pay it forward and post our very positive experience with Don Orall's garage in Hancock, NY. After a nice visit with my daughter up in Syracuse my wife and I were driving back to NY on Rte 17S on a Sunday afternoon and hit a huge pot hole. Unfortunately I have "run-flat" tires and blew one of them out. (don't get me started on run-flat tires...that's a whole separate conversation !) Needless to say, not much was open on a Sunday in the Catskill's, and luckily we connected with George at Don Orall's garage who picked us up, helped us get to the Hancok House Hotel (very nice), as we had to stay over for the night, and made call's to help us find a tire and a dealer the next morning to fix our tire and finally get back home. George was very, very nice, and extremely helpful and accommodating. So if you happen to need help while traveling thru Hancock, NY - don't hesitate to call Don Orall's garage. read more
