Hit a huge pothole on 17E was luckily able to make the next exit for Hancock and to The Old Bat Factory gas station where a helpful employee told me about Oralls Garage that opened at 8am next morning. I called the garage to see if they wanted to tow me that night or next am and we decided in the morning. Luckily, there was the Delaware Inn next door so got a room for the night. I over inflated my tire the next morning and drove to the garage 1.4miles away and was at Don Oralls Garage before 8am. Patrick took a look at my bent rim with tire partially off and said he thought he could pound it back in shape. He took my car right in and by 10:15am I was back on the road! He also found that one of the tire bolts had snapped so he replaced them all. In and out of the garage for under $150 and in just about 2 hours! I was completely satisfied with their service! My jeep conked out on Old Route 17 as i was desperately trying to make my way to Oralls based on a recommendation from a passerby. Another good samaritan called them to row me. A third good samaritan from the volunteer fire dept said i was too close to a bend in the road and stayed behind me with the lights flashing until the tow arrived. Turned out the two guys were brothers. At the office, everyone was really nice and let me stay in the office with my dog and cat until i could get a ride. I highly recommend. Honesty. Safety. Reliability. I was on my way to visit my son, who is currently in school at Binghamton University, when I had a flat tire. i am from queens n,y but i have a house and properties  in hancock n,y since 1979, i have accumulated a lot of equipment and do my own repairs projects and maintenance , me being an auto mechanic all my life repairing a dozer ,tractor , mower , tiller cement mixer , was no problem till i reached the age of 80 , getting to my experience with oralls  garage in hancock ny, a month ago after using my backhoe and the last minute before i have to go back to queens that evening for an important event in next couple of days when i go to park the backhoe last minute i noticed the rear 28" tube tire flat, in a quick checking i found a nail in it , i call oralls garage the lady was very pleasant bring it in now she said it is 3: pm late , i am only 5 miles away so i had drop in off there and continued for queens , i was to be called the next day, at 2: pm no hear yet so i called, i was tolled will be called back in a minute no hear from second time , called the 3rd day the answer was hold on , i am on hold for 20 minutes then the lady relates what the mechanic told her and that was my friend you need a new tire , all 4 tires was replaced a year ago but trying to sell $500.00 tire because of a  1/2" cut on one of the 2" tall thread , the mechanic don't know that i can teach him the trade, so i purchased a set of inner tube patches for $10.00 the next day i pecked it up and  it take me 20 minutes to remove the tube and glue a patch over a pin hole and put it together and back on the tractor, the bosses are ok the office is ok, but the some of the mechanics looks like they working on commission , so those shops i do not trust. read more

I was stuck in the snow on a back road. The snow was heavy and my truck was a hazard. Pretty much would cause an accident. Someone who lived near by said "You can use my phone if you'd like" I replied "I have no idea who to call at 4:30 in the morning" He replied Don Orall's Garage I believe has 24 hr towing." We were driving with our son up to Rochester in his "new" car, a 1996 Jeep, when he broke down. We called AAA and they sent Don Orall's Garage to tow us at 9:30 at night. We could not have been happier with the treatment we received from Don Orall's. The tow truck driver was the owner (sorry, I forgot his name). He brought us right to our hotel. I spoke to him the next morning and was informed that the car broke down due to a minor issue, was charged a very reasonable repair and treated very fairly and very nicely. I don't often write reviews, but wanted to pay it forward and post our very positive experience with Don Orall's garage in Hancock, NY. After a nice visit with my daughter up in Syracuse my wife and I were driving back to NY on Rte 17S on a Sunday afternoon and hit a huge pot hole. Unfortunately I have "run-flat" tires and blew one of them out. (don't get me started on run-flat tires...that's a whole separate conversation !) Needless to say, not much was open on a Sunday in the Catskill's, and luckily we connected with George at Don Orall's garage who picked us up, helped us get to the Hancok House Hotel (very nice), as we had to stay over for the night, and made call's to help us find a tire and a dealer the next morning to fix our tire and finally get back home.
