I did get a chance to taste some of their food while attending a friends wedding, and it was tasty and a little fussy (it was broiled Salmon in a thick and delicious tomato-cream sauce). Also, "3 Chefs..." puts a fair amount of attention to the elegance of the table. But what is most impressive to me is the wide variety of the catering services that they offer. The "3 Chefs Catering" menu can be customized for ANY Occasion, from Cocktail Parties, to Graduation Dinners, to a Intimate & Romantic Anniversary Meal. They even offer to cater events as small as a Picnic, to ones as large as a big BBQ, or any size Party, from Weddings (serving up to 300 guests), to Birthdays, to Corporate Events and Weekend Retreats. And they don't have to make an entire meal. "3 Chefs..." will cater trays of delicate Hors D'oeuvres, chafing dishes of Appetizers, an open-bar Beverage service, to multi item Dessert Table. And to make the Holidays an easier pill to swallow, "3 Chefs..." offers to cater your Thanksgiving dinner, your Christmas Holiday feast, and even religious events like Passover & Easter dinners. The "Staff was amazing and attentive" in serving our delicious "Family Style" Luncheon. I was please they could work within our "Budget" to alllow us to have this Luncheon in their beautiful Banquet Room. In addition there was space for our "Entertainer." Many compliments was shared after the luncheon! We already are planning on Booking another Event this Year at "31 North Banquets!"

Should have been another warning sign). When pressed, they said we didn't tip their people enough. Note that we had 20% tip built in to the contract AND their people put out tip jars (TACKY) even though we requested they didn't (we paid for the open bar). After no longer returning my calls, I walked in to their storefront. After being yelled at and threatened by both Eddie and Mary, I mentioned that my sister is a lawyer and all the sudden I had a check for the deposit they owed me. I don't care what the other reviews day in the positive... I've talked to far more who had the same experience I had... Please think twice.

I don't think I've ever had any item that I didn't enjoy but in general am delighted by what I have. Two things about the ingredients really stand out for me from this caterer. For most all of them, the vegetables are fresh and delicious, but Northern Fork's fruit is perfectly ripe and sweet. This way I never have to worry about getting a sour piece of fruit. The other thing is that I don't normally choose vegan food, but Northern Fork has managed to make everything taste delicious. Overall, everything about the food here seems to be on the healthier but still extremely tasty side and many items I've tried beat the flavor of local restaurants nearby.

We've been regular customers of the Picnic Basket (restaurant side of this business) for years and Gourmet Food Works actually catered my husband's christening years ago, so there was little doubt they'd be the best choice for our big day. That said, we were very budget conscious, so we definitely did our homework (checked with other caterers, etc.), but in the end no one compared from a price, quality, or service standpoint, and I know we made the right choice going with Gourmet Food Works! From our initial meeting with Ivan, where he answered our million questions and clearly laid out our options.. to the food tasting where he provided us with so many delicious options to choose from.. to the morning of the big day where he and his team showed up early to ensure everything was ready to go.. and finally to the day-of coordination and food service, everything was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. We had our wedding at an amazing but non-traditional location (see: Cypress Resort & Marine in Antioch) which required a bit more logistical consideration than some of the other more traditional venues out there. Ivan and his team actually went out to the site to scope things out ahead of time (on more than one occasion, I believe) to ensure what we were envisioning was feasible. There were also a number of changes and several 'special requests' we made during the process (which I know caused a lot of extra work for Ivan), and throughout everything, he was patient, responsive, and extremely helpful. He was very familiar with our venue and helped with alot of the planning for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He really made the whole process a breeze! We had some menu ideas when we arrived for the tasting, months before our wedding, but Ivan brought out samples of SO much food and we ended up picking something completely different. As the bride, I have food allergies (allergic to gluten and dairy) and Ivan was SO accommodating with all the menu choices. Alot of our guests were also GF and he made sure our buffet was all clearly marked with tons of options for everyone. First and foremost, the food was absolutely outstanding--truly five-star quality. They served pork tenderloin, filet mignon, and barbecue ribs, sesame ginger chicken, a quesadilla appetizer bar and a huge appetizer buffet on the kitchen bar that everyone raved about. The whole set up could have won an award. Everything that went on my plate was next-level delicious. How these people do not have their own restaurant, I honestly don't know. Just as impressive as the food was the staff. They were extremely friendly, professional, attentive, and efficient. Everything seemed to happen effortlessly, almost like a perfectly choreographed performance. I asked the homeowner and groom how they found Kevin's Creative Catering, and he told me it was simply through word of mouth. What amazed me even more was learning that he had contacted Kevin only about a week before the wedding. Kevin and his team came out, looked over the property, listened carefully to exactly what the bride and groom wanted, and then carried it out with what I can only describe as military precision. Every detail was handled professionally, efficiently, and without unnecessary stress. One small gesture really summed up the level of service they provide. On the doorstep was a really cool pumpkin with the bride and groom's names carved into it. My wife thought it was fantastic and went over to ask how she could get one. Even though dinner service was still underway, Kevin himself took the time to go out to his truck, get another pumpkin, and carve one for her right there on the spot. That kind of personal service is rare.
