Great value, good food, friendly and prompt. Every visit is enjoyable, and the service is very very courteous. Only downside is how long it takes to check out during busy times (lunch), but that is a very minor inconvenience. Will be back! read more

We are from Miami, FL and came to Tennessee because we decided to evacuate during hurricane Irma . Our hotel is a few minutes from this restaurant. What a great choice . Quick lunch stop off I-40. Typical Mexican selections, we didn't really look at the steakhouse options. Kids menu had quite a few options, but no veggies as usual - we ordered milk and it was huge. Reasonable prices. Arroz con pollo had a nice selection of fresh veggies in it. Enchiladas were tasty but nothing remarkable. Clientele was about 50/50 Latino and gringo. We decided to try this place out and I'm glad we did. The food was great. Everything came out hot and promptly. Our waiter, who I believe may have been the owner or manager, was nice and joking with us and our kids! Don Eduardo's has some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. I have traveled a lot along the US/Mexico border, and Don Eduardo's has these places beat. The food is somewhat traditional Mexican along with some American touches. The serving size is typical american for sure. I just ate there this weekend with my aunt and cousin from Houston, and they said it was every bit as good as the excellent places they're used to eating at. Everything is good, and occasionally they'll bring you off menu items that they have cooked up for the day. Also, the LARGE margarita is the best in the world. The smaller one's use a different mix and may be pre-made, whereas the large's use top shelf ingredients and their own lime mix. Anyway, they're terrific, and maybe a little strong! read more

A nice average place. Three stars and a half really bc they are super quick and ver friendly! A roadside Mexican joint in a small town on the way to Nashville... The girls loved the kids meal for $3.79 with a taco and the usual fixings. The bf had a fajita burrito that was enormous and covered in white melted cheese. I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food (they do have burgers too) especially rice and beans so I look for anything that doesn't have those as sides. And I found something they called a pita which had just about everything you could imagine. The pita was a fried tortilla which I would have ordered naked had I known but no complaints about the filling!! It was shrimp, chicken strips and steak strips (like fajitas) w a variety of veggies like broccoli and tomatoes and the typical Mexican salad with a great big scoop of guacamole. They accommodated slight changes to the dishes without a blink of an eye( no beans f to one child and extra salad instead). A decent stop on a road trip to avoid the usual chains and sit down. Decent enough place, nice folks, if a bit harried and disorganized on a busy Fri evening. However, I advise against ordering the taco salad. There's not much in the way of 'salad' to it, just a small handful of shredded iceberg lettuce and a good deal of shredded chicken completely covered in some sort of gooey cheese 'glop' along with a few sad chopped tomatoes. A nice surprise, however, was the sliced avocado on it which was not mentioned in the description on the menu. Other diners' plates looked good enough, so try something else if you go. read more

We live in the same city as Don Eduardo's but do not eat here that often due mostly to inadequate parking. However the times I have eaten here or gotten takeout I was very pleased with what I had ordered. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be eating here again soon. read more

We had really good Fish Monterrey and mushroom burrito off the menu (for being a vegetarian). Their food is delicious, their dining room is well set with interesting Mexican decor, and the waiters are friendly and seem to really like what they do! read more
