The bean cheese dip tantalized the taste senses and was delightful. The tomato salsa lacked onion, more cilantro, and chile. It basically was tomatoes. The beef, chicken, and nopales had good flavor. Frijoles were okay. Corn tortillas were good as well. The chicken tortilla soup was tasty. The server checked on us often. The music was typical in a casual atmosphere. Excellent! If you're making fajitas and don't feel like making the sides, leave it to the experts at CG! We were on vacation and wanted to have a family fajita night, but didn't want to go through the hassle of making the refined beans (the right way) and Mexican rice, so I ordered the sides and dips. For 7 adults and 2 kids, I ordered 5 sides of beans and rice, as well as a 16oz guacamole and 16oz pico de gallo. We had twice as much as we needed and will use leftovers to go with breakfast tacos. I didn't get any pictures of the food, but would definitely recommend this place. I want to add, the 16oz side of pico de gallo was only $3.50!!! You can't make it for that price. read more

My husband and I were visiting the area and picked up food here our first night. We ordered a jumbo chicken burrito and buffalo wings. When we got to our condo, my husband realized his burrito was steak and had very little sauce. He immediately called the restaurant and they agreed to make him another one to be picked up later in the week. We appreciated their customer service. My wings had the right amount of seasoning but were a bit rubbery so I put them under the oven broiler to make them crispy. It was easy breezy because they came in a ln aluminum pan. They were much better! I could tell that the crispiness had been lost because of the tight packaging. Although we didn't eat in, my husband saw it when he picked up our food. According to him, the restaurant is pretty big and decorated nicely. read more

Service leaves alot to be desired! No matter how many times I asked for more chips they were slow in delivery! There was 8 of us on the 4th of July but they were under staffed I guess the 4th is a Mexican holiday also, LoL until Trump folks get here! Second time we've eaten here first time was God this time was horrible! Again service was horrible! Service and selection is very good. As other reviewers have mentioned, the food is missing something which makes it taste bland. It would be great to have an option to have your meal prepared "spicy". They have plenty of room for groups and are very accommodating. We come here often because it's one of the few restaurants in FFG. We've never had a bad experience, the food is always hot and fresh, huge menu selection and the service has always been top notch. OK, disclaimer, I'm from Texas so my expectations are already high when I walk into a door of any Mexican restaurant outside of Texas. I try to tamper them down a bit but I still expect *good* Mexican food. Sorry, it just wasn't up to par. I ordered the chicken nachos with lettuce and tomato on top. The chicken meat was very small pieces so difficult to find and the taste of the chicken meat came across as a Mexican spice you'd get from the grocery store. I could do half of the plate only. Four of us stopped by for a late lunch on Labor Day! The $4.99 lunch special was tasty and a great value! Two for one on all beers were a great value also! Shrimp quesadilla was a large portion and delicious! My wife had the Hawaiian Chicken and raved about how fabulous it was! The portion was large and she took enough home for lunch the next day! We also liked the mild and medium salsas were very good and they served bean and cheese dip with the chips also! A pleasant and tasty surprise! Service was fast, good and very pleasant! So we sat down ordered 2 regular margaritas on the rocks one frozen Texas margarita grand size .Waitress shows up with 2 frozen regular margaritas and the one grade on rocks. 1 person said it's ok on the regular size frozen. The other person said she wanted hers as ordered that frozen was too cold. They exchanged that one. When my grande Texas came it was not frozen but on the rocks, I complained, Waitress wrote down frozen fed me me a lie about they don't have any. Not bad. Coming from So Calif and having been exposed to excellent Mexican food this wants bad. Kind of bland (I prefer spicier Mexican food) but you simply can't make to spicy of dishes due to most people not being able to handle it. The salsa was flat ( I prefer pico de Gallo) but again they need to be able to please the masses. A good meal and the service was friendly and efficient. I'll be back. read more

This place was fabulous and has changed my opinion! The menu is very different with authentic Mexican dishes. Recently revisited the Casa Grande on Peavine rd after two previous mediocre meals. The ambience and service are fine, but the food is another story. One meal was not what was ordered, the second was of poor quality, and the third,a taco salad was like soup in a taco bowl. Other Mexican restaurants nearby are much better. read more

Best new restaurant in the glade. The usual combo dishes are good but try carnitas or the shrimp dishes too. Fajitas are a favorite of mine. They give salsa and chips but include a bean dip that I loved. It is usually fast service but be aware they are closed Saturday but open Sunday and through the week.
