The food was exceptional. Not just typical for Mexican. Portions were adequate and the service was attentive and friendly. Though it is located in the strip center, the interior gives a nice ambience of Mexican decor. Definitely would recommend it. read more

Food was great as always! We had the best service by Aristeo Avila! We highly recommend! Thank You

We stopped in for a late lunch today. Our first time at this particular location. We decided to order the two fajitas meal. It arrived with seared shrimp, skirt steak, & chicken with onions and green peppers. A side of Mexico rice and refried beans accompanied the fajitas. Corn tortillas were wrapped in foil on a separate plate. The shrimp was the best tasting item. Cooked just right. The corn tortillas were day old looking and stuck together so they tore into pieces and no the best for the meat mixture. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. The establishment is small and cozy for an evening meal. Hopefully the tortillas are better next time. read more

Las Margaritas - a man sitting at a table with plates of food - Mexican Near Me - Crossville, Tennessee

Went here for lunch order a combination plate. The young Mexican waitress was sitting next to the kitchen and she looks as if she had a problem waiting on me, she took my order. Got my food which sucks, I gave her twenty dollars to pay for my food she returns with no change, so I ask her how much was my food was she said the twenty dollars cover it. when I got home I call the restaurant and ask to speak to the manager and ask how much my food was, he apologizes saying I paid to much so I return to get my changes. This restaurant will not be getting any more of my business read more

Best Mexican restaurant in crossville. Always good and fresh. I've tried just about everything on the menu and my favs are first the chili relleno. Best I've ever had. Carnitas and the mole also great. My husband loves the pollo loco. Never had a bad meal or had to send anything back ever. read more

Truly good Mexican food in the heart of Tennessee. With chile rellenos and mole on the menu, I knew this was going to be in the spirit of authenticity... and it was. The chile relleno is made from scratch, lightly battered, and delicately fried. Served on a bed of red chile sauce, it had great flavor. It is very mild so middle Tennesseans won't have to worry. If you want it spicier, ask for a spicy salsa and they'll comply. The mole was rich and had a very pleasant depth of flavor. Again, they make it from scratch in the restaurant... no small feat given the number of ingredients. The beef taquitos were terrific. Slices of beef (not ground) and onion filled 4 thin corn tortillas that were quickly deep fried, then served with shredded lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. Total comfort food! You can tell they hand-roll the taquitos prepared in the kitchen. All-in-all, this was a very pleasant surprise for Mexican food in Crossville. Nothing is overly spiced unless you do it yourself, which I prefer since I can make it as hot as I like. I would DEFINITELY return to Las Margaritas the next time I'm in Crossville! read more

Best chicken soup north of the border. Well poured drinks and authentic cooking. We've tried them all in Crossville and this is the best!

Stopped in over the week of Thanksgiving with my son. There were a couple of other tables there, There appeared to be one American girl who was trying to figure out the music who was the server that day and two Mexican guys one of whom appeared to be her husband or boyfriend who also checked on us. Anyways it's a small one cook operation but we thought they did a good job again. We've been there a few times now and the fajitas I got were good. My son enjoyed his chicken quesadilla. Salsa was good too. It's a pretty good place for being right in Fairfield Glade. Being so small I'm not sure it can accomodate big groups that well so you'd probably be better off going to one of the larger Mexican restaurants in Crossville. For how small Crossville is they seem to have quite a few Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

Excellent authentic Mexican! So fresh. Totally unexpected in this small town. Completely competes with the Mexican food in Chicago. I had the Fiesta Burrito --my son also had it without the shrimp and we both loved it. The chips and salsa also good and my husband loves the margaritas. read more

This is my go-to place for Mexican food In Crossville. I like the fact that is smaller and off the beaten path. I love their food and you get great service here. Haven't tried anything i haven't liked here. read more

We stopped by this restaurant on our way through Crossville. There are better options if you are looking for good Mexican food. The beans and chips were stale. The beef was under seasoned, and the staff left us sitting waiting on the bill for far too long. It could have been worse, but it also could have been much better. read more

Excellent food. Excellent staff. Treat them with respect and they'll treat you like family.

Best Mexican place in town, IMO! Everything is always fresh and very hot! I do not like the recent changes to their cheese dip, but that's okay. The staff is always friendly and filling the drinks up, or giving you a large glass so you don't run out as fast. I really enjoy visiting this place. Great atmosphere as well. Live band on Thursdays. read more

Las Margaritas's food is not flavorful. The ground beef, which is used in most dishes, tastes like plain ground beef. If has no flavor unless you add salsa to it. For those who like very mild tasting food, this restaurant would be okay. The service is nothing outstanding but the waiters/waitresses are friendly. read more

We are here visiting from Austin, Texas, so we've eaten in plenty of good Mexican Restaurants. We went to Las Margaritas because the other restaurant we wanted to go to was closed on Monday. We spotted this place close by and took a chance. What a surprise: Great service, excellent food. The chef here is from Mexico, and everything was fresh, delicious, and well prepared. Did I mention inexpensive and fried ice cream? Will definitely make this a regular stop when we're here to visit my mother-in-law! read more

We were in Crossville for a family reunion and decided to check out the local food. Definitely had better. I really wanted to like this place, but the food was mediocre and the margarita was easily forgotten. The salsa was blah, chips seemed on the verge of being stale, and my pollo habanero was ok at best. Maybe I just picked the wrong menu item. Several others had the nachos and a couple other dishes & they seemed to enjoy it. Maybe I need to give Las Margaritas another chance! read more
