My radiator hoses sprung a leak and I could have gotten stuck in the dessert somewhere, but KC Tire was there with a POSITIVE attitude and the right tools to drop everything he was doing to help me get back on the highway without delay. The grandfather helped me, his son assisted, and the grandson watched and joked with me. They are GOOD Men. Did not take advantage of me and charge me an arm and a leg. Also, on the way back from my pickup, my battery light was blinking on my dash and I feared the worst , that my alternator was shot. KC Tire was just closing up shop for the day, it was late, 6pm, but they saw that I was stressed and once again sprung into action, they tested my alternator, saw that it was still working fine, and that really put my mind at ease. I got home safe from there , another 3 hours, and I owe it ALL to KC Tire Service! Thanks Guys! God Bless You!!!

As I was doing so I could hear all of the air exiting the tire, there was a HUGE whole in my tire from a 2-3 inch rusted nail! I'm sitting there thinking CRAP, not only am I late for work, but I'm literally stuck in my drive way with no way to get my tire fixed as I was home alone and no other spare vehicle to drive. I didn't want to call a tow truck as they're super expensive on top of having to pay to get your tire fixed. Then I remembered Elite Tire of Bakersfield is a MOBILE one stop shop (trailer :P)! I gave Darren a call and he was at my house in less than 30 minutes! He patched my tire and had me on my way in an hour or less. He also informed me that all 4 of my tires were extremely bald (my life is too busy lately I hadn't paid attention, I should have known, my dad taught me better, oops!) So Darren ordered me some new tires and asked when I would like them to be put on my car, I said ASAP. I went off to work with my newly patched tire, ran some errands and was home by 6pm and Darren was right behind me and showed up to install my new tires for me THE SAME DAY!! He changed all of my tires and also informed me that I need new brake discs and pads soon. He even took my old tires to the dump for me for a very small reasonable fee! Now that's what I call great customer service!! Darren does an amazing job and is very knowledgeable (I'm a very curious person and I like to know how things work so I ask 1,000 questions about everything, lol thanks for putting up with me Darren!). Very impressed and grateful that he got all of this done for me in the same day knowing he has his own life and family to attend to also. Thank you so much for everything Darren, I will be calling you again soon for those new brake pads and brake discs! Always support your friends and small business! Don't waste your entire day at some chain tire shop who will over charge you and have your call ALL DAY because you're just another number to them. Call Darren at Elite Tire of Bakersfield for the best personal customer service he'll have you on your way in no time!

Due to things I had going on i had to cancel. cacontacted himp back a few days later to come back. We settled for 8:30 am the next day. He arrived on time and told me I needed a new tire and said he would call around. He also stated that he would charge me $50 flat rate. And once we found a tire he could go and exchange it for me. I agreed upon that first. He told me that my new tire was going to be around 200 dolland I thought that was a little excessive for one tire, especially such a small tire. So he said he would call another place. He called another place and as he was on the phone I listened to the conversation and google the make and model. When? My Google search came up. I seen that for a brand new tire. It ranged from 49 to $70. He gets off the phone and tells me that he found one for a hundread plus tax. I knew that was a bit excessive. So I continued to Google why he said he was going to return the tire. I sent him the screenshot of the tires I found which were all brand new and told them please do not let them overcharge me for a tire. He text me back and said he found one for a $110. And I ask him to bring the receipt when he returned. I asked him for a receipt and he showed me a receipt for a $100. Was it a proper receipt? I don't know. I just took his word for it but told him that was more expensive than any of the other tires. I had looked up so when it came time for payment. He told me it was going to be a 175 when he quoted me $50 and showed me a receipt for a 100 I told him that was more than. We talked about, but at that point it was done and I was just trying to hurry up and end the transaction. I asked him if he had changed. He told me he did not at that point I did not want to pay him any extra money because I felt like he had already charged me way too much and informed him. I was gonna go to the bank and get change. Once arriving at the bank, the lines were too long and he was waiting outside with my car. So I just went ahead and gave him the money. So we both could be done with the trandaction. All in all, I really feel like because I was a woman he did take advantage and overcharged me and up charged me. I told him as I was giving him the money that I just wanted it to be done with. He agreed took the cash and then left. In all honesty, outside of him over charcharging me he got the work done.

Moving from the bay area, I can definitely tell you that most expensive does not always mean the best. Bad first impression Hanford, is that the mentality of businesses here?
