A mixture of either old, sketchy, no sex appeal and rough around the edges. The dance floor was packed and the music was on point. There was some people that set up food in the back but it left a trail of an odor that was not appetizing. Drinks were ok at best but when I asked for a cup with ice it seemed to be an issue. Very off putting. Not quite sure what the issue was.... The bartender brought the manager over and I had to specify I wanted it for my beer. Yes, I'm a weirdo if I don't get a frosted glass, I'll take a cup with ice. The manager proceeds to ask me ; "So you want me to pour the beer into the cup with ice?" UMMM yes I don't mind pouring it my damn self but if it makes you more comfortable, knock yourself out. It truly didn't make a difference to me who poured it, I just wanted some damn ice to cool myself off! I'm not sure what type of sketchy and shady people they deal with but I am not the one. My boyfriend and I run a good tab on drinks, give me what I'm asking for and paying for! Meanwhile, I did not see just about any of the 30-40 people on the dance floor buy a drink. I then saw hookah's on a table and the price list. Unfortunately, they were not providing hookah service that night. So why have them out? Whewwww I love my house music community and love the Lincoln Park festival that is close to the bar but this past Sunday this bar and crowd missed the mark. The only redeeming factor was the DJ. I highly doubt I'd return unless it were to vibe out and dance to a DJ I reaaaaallly love.

What I did not appreciate was the additional service charge being applied to the bill. For example, if a shot is listed at $14, two shots should be $28 before taxes and other applicable charges. Instead, I was charged $32, which means an additional $4 was added through the service charge. I understand that establishments have operating costs and may choose to implement service charges, but I personally feel that these charges should be clearly explained and reasonable. Adding a service charge to everything can make the advertised prices feel misleading and significantly increase the final bill. Overall, the food was decent and the service was okay, but the additional charges were disappointing and, in my opinion, not worth it. I would encourage management to be more transparent about these fees and consider how they affect the customer's overall experience.

My girlfriend didn't enjoy her espresso martini until they made it again with less Bailey's. I ordered a Remy Martin based cocktail which was ok. Our bartender was funny and engaging, and she went above and beyond to make us drinks we had at other restaurants (which she nicely didn't charge us for). Their alcohol selection is average.
