Our daughter and son-in-law sold their house using a Listing-only service and the financial advantage was obvious, but it did leave them with a lot of the follow up work to do for themselves. After a week we had not made contact with a real person, and we felt that if that was the standard of their service before we signed up, what could we expect subsequently. Somewhat skeptically we telephoned and spoke to Don Anthony himself who quickly summarized the scheme and apologized because he was only able to get an agent to meet with us in two days' time. Dan arrived on the appointed day and talked us through the contract and sorted out the photos and details for the listing. Our listing went live and that same day we received our first offer, albeit a lowball one. Showings occurred very frequently after that, and within two weeks we had accepted one of two further offers that had been made. Andrew from the support team talked us through the negotiation process and answered all our questions either by phone or email often late into the evening. There was also a very good Question and Answer database online which took us step by step through all the procedures related to the sale. The contract was checked by the team before we received it, and we were constantly updated about the buyer's appraisal, home inspection, etc and given positive advice about our options. Our HUD settlement statement arrived via Email two days before closing, again with comments from Don Anthony's team, and this gave us plenty of time to check the figures before we went to the attorney. We arrived in the certain knowledge that had there been anything untoward, Don Anthony's team would have made us aware of it. Closing went without a hitch, and before we knew it we were on the road to our new destination just two months after listing. So if like us initially you are skeptical about the service, put those fears aside because we can report that we received a 110% service from this fine team and trust their presence in the area will be significantly increased. I recently sold my home using Don Anthony Realty. I was extremely happy with their service and saved close to $4,000 in commissions by using Don Anthony Realty rather than a typical "full service" broker. From the time I listed until the time I closed on the sale Don Anthony Realty provided excellent and professional service. My closing was delayed four weeks & cost me an additional $5000 in concessions to the buyer after an agent with Don Anthony failed to relay time sensitive information to me. The agent didn't follow through with the repair request which caused the buyer to execute a termination of the contract. My contract with Don Anthony granted them more money if the contract didn't proceed to closing, which is most likely the motivation behind the actions of the agent. When I attempted to address the issue with Don Anthony, no one responded to my concerns, and the agent in question said to me via email, "I POLOGIZE!" They did not move the contract towards closing, nor could they be reached by the buyer's agent or the real estate attorney regarding the closing once the due diligence date had passed or on the day of closing when an additional problem arose. In short, Don Anthony Realty was content to let my contract fall-through, rather than working towards problem resolution and an on-time closing. They cost me an additional $5000 & 4 weeks of additional stress because of their mistake and couldn't even offer a decent apology. read more

They got my home listed on MLS right away, along with many other websites. I had an offer within three weeks. Support was great. When I needed an answer to a question, I got that answer the same day or no later than the next day either by email or phone. Saving over $3800 in commissions was great. We had a home to sell in North-East Raleigh, and thought we would save alot of money by going though Don Anthony. He sent a guy to the house named Dan, answers a some question and we signed a contract, wrote out a check for about $600.
