Large Extravaganza Pizza.
Calvin L.

Ordered online and the pizza was hot and fresh. I ordered the Extravaganza Pizza during a 50% off promotion, and there was a good amount of toppings. The sauce has a slight sour note, but I think that is expected of all Dominos Pizza places.

Pizza is consistently good. ‍ Staff are polite. Preparation is quick. That's the review.

Maker Pizza Thornhill - Dr. Pepperoni

I love Maker Pizza and have endless great things to say about them! Let's get started!…read more First off, I didn't even know that every Thursday they have slices for only $3.75 - what a steal! This includes the pepperoni, cheese, Frank's best, and spicy vodka pepperoni. Service here is super friendly, the spot is clean with staff constantly wiping tables and the floors during the winter time. I got a whole dr. pepperoni slice with extra cheese and it came piping hot, cooked perfectly and so delicious. Also got slices of their spicy vodka which is my favourite and a full 5/5 for me. Frank's best is a great change in flavour with goat cheese, mozz, caramelized onions, rosemary, organic honey and a sesame crust. Don't forget to also get their spicy creamy garlic dip and mix it well! Overall, I love this spot and think their pizzas are so good! Their crusts are delicious as well, especially the sesame crust.

This is the second location for Maker Pizza. One of the partners of the business is Matty Matheson…read more Menu is primarily pizza and also wings. Small selection of dessert items. Pizzas come in 12 (4 slices) and 16 inch (8 slices). There is also a square pizza called a Tavern Cut. Pizza is on the more expensive side. We order a 12 and 16 inch with 1 dipping sauce and the bill was over 70 bucks with tax. We got takeout so no eating in. Pizza was ordered online and picked up. What was ordered: 16 inch Fred's Best - white pizza with béchamel sauce, goat cheese, caramelized onions with a sesame coated crust attached with honey 12 inch Dr.Pepperoni - fresh tomato sauce with generous topping of pepperoni 1 spicy creamy garlic dip The verdict? The crust was decent and pizzas are thin. We did find both pizzas a little too greasy for our preference. The flavour of Fred's Best was a combination of sweet from the honey and caramelized onions and salty from the cheese. Dr. Pepperoni was better with spicy kick from the chunks of tomatoes and pepperoni. Salty is the other descriptor I would use. Would we order again? Maybe. At these prices I would consider this special occasion pizza!

I am happy to be the first person to review this delicious, mom and pop pizza/sandwich shop on…read moreYonge. I have been there a total of 5 times since they took over management in October. They recently gave it a face lift and made the restaurant cozy and very welcoming, and I must say it gets better and better every time I go there. They offer a wide range of pizzas, sandwiches and other Persian specialties like Ash-e Reshte, Halim and kookoo sabzi. The first few times I went I placed orders for my husband and I, I saw how quick and pleasant their service was so, I decided to order for a party I was having. I ordered large 6 pizzas and told the young man I would be there for 7 to pick up. When I arrived they had a few people in line ordering so I thought my order wasn't ready as it was their rush period. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the very sweet and lovely young lady at the front, she told me my order was ready, and they were putting the last pizza in the box! EXCELLENT time management. They offered my a side of their specialty olives on the house, and helped me take everything to my car. The pizzas all had generous amounts of toppings on them and were all full of flavour. My guest loved the pizzas and a few became regulars after trying it. They drizzle some ketchup which gives it a really awesome flavour. ASK FOR THEIR GARLIC SPECIAL SAUCE OMG!!!! IT IS SOOOO GOOD Thank you very much!!!!!

Food 4/5 Service 3/5…read moreAmbiance 3/5 Food: We ordered a bunch of pizza's for our family. Bulgogi, AAA Steaky Smoked, Garlic Butter Chicken, & Veggie. We also ordered some chicken karage to try. I found the beef on the AAA Steaky Smoked & Bulgogi pizzas were very dry. Also the Garlic Butter Chicken didn't seem to have much garlic. This location is the only location near us now. I really wish the Yonge/Sheppard location hadn't closed. I thought their pizzas tasted better. Even though it is the same franchise. The veggie pizza tasted the best I think. But the rest of the family enjoyed the pizza & karage at leaste. Service: We were not impressed with the service. When we walked in to make an order it was just past 11.30am. The lady at the order window said we don't open until 12pm. Hubby was surprised as he had ordered at this location before 12pm in the past. Hubby felt she was a bit rude. So we went to a cafe nearby to hang out until 12pm. We came back & made our order. The lady who had told us to come back at 12pm was stomping around & put some other orders on the pick up table which were not ours. We ended up next door to order at Ikka Ramen (newly opened) to try their food as well. They were much nicer. Many came in to place an order & got their food before us. Made us wonder why our food was taking so long. We eventually got our pizzas but were not liking the service we received. Ambiance: Pizza Maru is actually combined with Katsuya now. The place is pretty ordinary looking. There are a bunch of booth tables. Most people seem to order takeout from here rather than dining in. The parking lot is not large & there are several potholes so be careful when driving in. I'm not sure if I would order here again. The service was surly & the pizza not as great.

Tried the Bulgogi flavor + sweet ranch sauce, which was life-changing! We also tried the karaage…read moreand that meal was huge and flavorful. I have visited East Side Sandwiches a couple of times. Two doors down from this place is Pizzaiolo…read more I flagged dropping by this place ever since. Last Monday, I was out to get a shake. I was debating whether I needed dinner because this shake was also a meal replacement. I decided to order through Pizzaiolo. Any leftovers would be great the following day, which means no cooking on my part! I ordered through Ritual. I got the following items: - Swiss cheese and mushroom whole wheat calzone - Garlic bread This plaza is small, but there are a decent number of parking spots that I had no problem parking steps away from the main entrance. My order was ready in twenty minutes. It took nearly that much time for me to get here from northern Scarborough. I walked in and was greeted by a nice woman. I indicated that I had a Ritual order. She spoke to her male colleague in a language that I didn't get. The man said, "Whole wheat." She opened the box and I had realized that they didn't make it with whole wheat. She asked if it was okay. I would have sooner got what I had specified. Luckily, I don't have any issues with flour, so I took it. I got my two boxes of food, thanked the woman, and left the store to head home. My shake had 24 grams of protein. I typically get meat in a calzone, but decided to get cheese and mushrooms, skipping the meat. It was a good move. * Grammar thoughts - start * The slogan on the box, "Hand made, all day," was weird. You make a single hand all day? Handmade is one word. And, why add a comma? You're out of breath from making handmade two words?! * Grammar thoughts - end * The calzone was massive. I had a bit of it and the rest the following day for dinner. It was yummy. The dough was great. There were lots of mushrooms. The Swiss cheese kept on oozing out. It was fun to eat. The dipping sauce was a slightly tangy and sweet ketchup. It was odd. I stopped having it because the sweetness wasn't the perfect pairing with a savoury item. The garlic bread, however, blew me away. There were decent small chunks of garlic on the bread. It made this garlic lover so happy. The bread was so good. My breath was garlicky for over an hour after my last piece of garlic bread. I'd definitely come back here just for the garlic bread. The best! I like that this place offers vegan cheese. There are also gluten-free options. It's a good place. Other than the weird whole wheat issue, I'd return for more good eats. (373)
