Turns out, this was a perfect place to pick up some pizzas and wings to take back to our hotel. We…read morewere in town to see Tyrus, the comedian at the Texarkana Convention Center and we thought pizza and wings for the room after the event would be a welcome sight after returning to the room. However, wouldn't you know it????? We get back to the room and are not in the least bit hungry!!!! But all was not lost. We brought our pizza and wings and heated them back up in our trusty air fryer and the food was good as new! We chose to order two of the 8" pizzas with one El Diablo and one Popeye. We also ordered 12 wings and chose General Tso and Jamaican Jerk sauces for the wings. Everything that we ordered was so good. I really like the idea of the 8" pizzas because it helps me with portion control. I am not sure why I ever think a 20" pizza should be split between two people; but I digress. Seems better to me to have two 8" pizzas with two flavors than having a larger pizza with half and half flavors. The service is counterservice but a sweet lady did actually bring our items to us where we were waiting so that was nice. I enjoyed the decor.

Not sure why I saw deep dish in the pictures but just so you know there is no deep dish. Had the Kujo added pineapple cause always necessary on thick crust. They do put a lot of toppings and the crust is good. It's reminiscent of what i remember pan crust being at Pizza Hut. It's just ok pizza to me. Spinach artichoke dip was ok. If you get the idea by now everything is just ok. The cinnamon sticks was not exciting either. You need to take the top off as it's too much bread but the icing is nice.

The toppings were good (I had Italian sausage and meatballs), and absolutely plentiful. I would definitely order from here again.

It is clearly more enjoyable to add a review of a good restaurant experience, but I must call it as…read moreit is. While the service was quite good, if not particularly friendly, the food...well, I have to question the future viability of this place. The soup was not identifiable, not flavorful and not consumed. The meat sauce on the spaghetti was very strange, flavor wise, and the spaghetti, while well-cooked, was swimming in the cooking water that was not allowed to drain adequately as it was plated. This is, unfortunately, not a rare occurrence in restaurants and is a particular pet peeve. The bread was okay, but familiar; my guess it was a standard issue from Sysco or somewhere. My suggestion is for them to get the spaghetti sauce from Sysco. I wish Chappo's well, but to attract discriminating customers, things need to change.

Since our last visit, we tried the calzone and Philly cheesesteak. Calzone was basic, cheese…read morecalzone, baked well and tasted ok. The calzone was large enough for two to eat well. The Philly cheesesteak was not as expected. The bread was what I'd hoped, a nice Italian sub roll. It was, however, over toasted to burnt around all edges. The light sauce made the bun fall apart and the meat was greasy. Cheese was ok but didn't really add flavor. Overall, one of the lowest cheesesteaks I've had (but I'm comparing to Geno's and Pat's level). Tiramisu was out of stock. Beginning to see that the entrees like ravioli, pasta, etc are mass-produced and heated up while pizzas, stromboli and calzones are made in-house.
