It's a generous personal size that easily feeds two people, and the open kitchen setup is a fun bonus; you can watch the whole thing being made and cooked right in front of you. The flavor was excellent. Plenty of bold, savory notes without being greasy or oily, and the sweet peppers paired beautifully with the pepperoni. The hot honey finish on top took it over the edge--sweet heat that tied everything together perfectly. It was ready in about 10min which is worth it for fresh toppings. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. Highly recommend!

The people, the energy, and the overall vibe are amazing again. Most importantly the food has been fantastic. The pizzas have that quality and flavor that made us love this place from the beginning. After being disappointed for a while it's genuinely great to come back and feel excited about this place again. And for anyone complaining that the pizza takes too long, remember these are handmade, brick oven pizzas. This isn't fast food. Good pizza takes time, and in my opinion the quality is absolutely worth the wait. So glad to see HopTown back to feeling like HopTown. If you haven't been in lately, give them another shot. We're definitely happy we did.

They also have cider and wine that looked interesting I didn't try. I got their Exit 44 varietal pale ale. It was delicious and very unique. The carbonation was effervescent with a clean hoppy taste. Pizza was very good. Crust was a bit thicker than a New York style, as was necessary because it contained two types of delicious cheese and a nice amount of other toppings along with a fresh parmesan sprinkle. One pizza filled me up. The waitresses were fantastic. Left feeling satisfied. Glad I chose pizza this time instead of the Mexican food I usually get in the valley.

My mom has been a patron here and has purchased plenty of pizza. She even came back after being…read moreserved and sold pizza with rotten (sour smelling and tasting) dough, thinking she should give them a second and then third chance. The FIRST time she was sold pizza with bad dough, she didn't ask for a refund. My family tried to eat the pizza thinking that there was no way the workers knowingly sold them a bad pizza. The second time this happened, though, she went back and told the workers that the dough was bad. The first person there just told her to get a refund. The person my mom had to get the refund from tried to play it off as if it were fine, until my mom told them to smell the dough. They refunded her her $19. Now today my mom decided she would give them their third chance. I personally wouldn't have. She went into this place ready to spend $50+ on their pizza - but she was immediately refused service for "causing problems" in the past and "causing them to lose money" by returning the last bad pizza. This was told to her (rudely, might I add) by both the employees as well as the manager after she requested to speak to her in order to understand why. My mom was BAFFLED that they would refuse to take her $50+ after "losing them" their $19 last time, even though she was still trying to support their local business when they didn't deserve it. Long story short - don't do business here unless you're willing to give them your money and shut up when they give you expired and bad food. I know I won't be frequenting this business and I'll make sure everyone I know knows how they treat their customers. My mom was correctly told by the manager that they have the right to refuse business to everyone - just as everyone else has a right to know that they're being sold and fed bad food.
