Hot Spot claims to be a coffee shop that serves food as well, but it is so much more than that. In addition to loads of really neat, antiques and artisan goods, they have an event space upstairs that preserve some of the fun and natural character of this really neat building. I didn't try any food this time, but the drink I had got me hooked. If not for the friendly service, the flavor of my salted honey maple latte will definitely bring me back.

The menu is pretty broad at the restaurant (more than "just bar food"). I ordered the dragon drops to start....Delicious! Just the right amount of spice in the pepper jack cheese! I also ordered an all meat burrito and I have to say...not bad and a large portion! Atmosphere is good for those sports watching people. They have large TV's that display all the sporting events. The restaurant also has a separate area you can rent for get togethers. Which is nice option for those family events. Check this place out :)

All three times, I have tried different foods and beer. Each time, the food was absolutely great, I love the beer, the service is excellent, friendly, fast, and the place is clean and nice. I've had the olive burger, fish and chips and Haus Mac and had them add fried chicken. Truly great, all three times. My family has had the kids burger (small, slider size) but REALLY GOOD, tons of cheddar cheese melting off it, pizza which was great, bacon-wrapped hot dog, great, and we all love the waffle fries and the seasoning on them. I haven't had a bad beer yet, but I recommend the Mortarhead IPA is it's one of the best IPAs I've had in a while! Haven't tried dessert there yet, but it's likely in my future. They have seating to accommodate small or large groups (we were 6 yesterday and had plenty of room in a both). Lots of TVs, which isn't always my favorite, but I appreciate that Bob Ross was on one of them, lol! Overall, this place is great, and we intend to keep going back here!
