Highly recommend choosing another place to eat. We ordered takeout and live an hour away from there. My son picked it up on his way home. We didn't get two of the salads we ordered. I called in and very politely spoke with the manager who at first offered to send me a $50 voucher in the mail. The cost of the salads was more than $50. When I explained that to her she upped it to $60. Essentially offering me $8 for the inconvenience of waiting an hour for the food that they didn't provide. Finally got her to offer $65, but impossible to refund to my debit card. I explained I didn't want a voucher as I surely was not going back there. So now I have to go back to Selkirk to pick up my $65 which barely covers the meal let alone the gas for their mistake. Miss the days when customers actually mattered to businesses.

The works means more than just a hot dog on a bun. Then there are the battered mushrooms. Very very small and very very greasy. We had received 11 tiny mushrooms for 6.50. In years past, this was a great place at which to eat and hang out. Now, it seems to be an excuse to have a business and try to make as much money as possible on bad food, bad service, and bad work ethics. We weren't impressed. We have many friends who live, and visit Winnipeg Beach, Matlock, and Gimli. We won't be recommending this place to any of them. We will definitely not be back either.
