I ordered a pizza. It said my order was ready at 11:14. My pizza didn't arrive until 1150. My apartment is five minutes away. I had to drive all the way over there to ask what is going on and once I got there, they said that he was one minute away. The delivery driver never called our number. He just left the pizza outside. In addition, we asked for the cheesy bread with pepperoni in it and they didn't give us what we asked for so please avoid going to this dominoes at all cost. I ordered a pizza at 4:03. At 5:50 the Domino's Tracker stated "quality control." I called them at 5:56 to determine if there was an issue. I waited on hold for 5 minutes and 23 seconds, only to be hung up on without speaking to anyone. I called back and waited on hold for 14 minutes, finally got to speak to someone. They told me that they couldn't deliver the pizza as they didn't have any drivers. I asked why they wouldn't call me prior to waiting two hours and that the Domino's Tracker stated the Pizza was going through the steps. His response was, "Sorry, we'll cancel your order." I ordered curbside pickup twice now in one month and both times, no one came out to deliver my order. After waiting for a while, I had to go in to get my own order which defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. The most recent experience was horrible. Ordered 2 pies, both were dry and stale. We ordered at 7:05 pm tonight and waited an hour for food that never showed up. Called twice and my call was somehow hung up both times. My boyfriend called and was told after being on hold for approximately 15 minutes that our food was delivered to someone else. Meanwhile online on my computer is stuck on "quality control" for over 40 minutes. If this was the first time this happend I would be ok, it's a fluke, but is not the first time. I would rather drive 10 minutes to Pizza Hut in Hackensack than order from Dominos again. Unless you are picking your order up directly do not get it delivered. It is useless. I am giving this place 1 star because there isn't anything lower. I have always been a domino's fan so when I saw one was coming to town a few years ago I was excited. Then it opened... I have tried them 4-5 times now, but as of tonight, I am done. Not once have they got an order right! Once I ordered some of their cinnamon twits. They were over proofed (?) unrecognizable, tasted awful and even tho I ordered 2 icings, I received none, but was charged for them. I once ordered a pizza, when it got here it looked like the box had been dropped on its side. A month or so ago I decidedly give them one more shot. 40 minutes later I got a call from them saying they had no driver and it would be 2 hours to get my meal, so I canceled. And all this brings us to tonight.... I had 1 free pizza and thought I would give them one last chance. I had a free medium pizza. I added 3 toppings and wanted one side of marinara sauce. I placed the order at 7:30 PM and waited. I watched the pizza tracker but there were no changes. I called the store at 9 PM, they stated it was on its way ( live 1 mile away). 9:30 I got a call from the driver saying he was outside. I went to the door, nobody. I waited a couple minutes, still nobody. I called the driver back, he asked for my address so I gave it to him and waited, again... still waiting... got a text from the driver, he wanted my address again, so I text it again. 9:45 (2 hours and 15 minutes after ordering) my pizza arrived! This is the worst place and shameful franchise on the planet. They have messed up several times and definitely after their last order I'll never be eating here again. That whole free promotion is a bunch of BS because they hide the cost in the delivery fee!! How funny it went from $2.99 and shot up to $5.99 for delivery! The whole point of the promo is that they're "giving" freebies for fee yet it's hiding in plain sight! So I wrote something on Twitter and I wasn't alone as thousands of people wrote the same exact thing from their local franchises and there is even a hashtag about it! So I get a call from this location in my town and the manager was so unapologetic, rude, and she had the gall to make me think I was crazy that the fee of $5.99 has been there for over six months when I told her I can prove to her she's wrong because I bought about three weeks prior to that order it was $2.99 and I have the receipt to prove it. Yet this moron insisted that isn't true and that pisses me off when you're lying to my face because I immediately noticed the $5.99 charge when I checked out and realized what the hell is going on here and I said to myself I bet you I'm gonna get some thing for free from that promo, sure enough my order came with a free pizza that I didn't even want as I am only one person and I had already ordered two medium pizzas with sides. So I was paying for a pie I didn't even want. They have made mistakes in the past and I've always overlooked it but now with this I'm sick of it and I'd rather order from an authentic pizzeria family owned than this piece of crap, rude, lying franchise!
