This is an amazing local find. Fresh gulf seafood is hometown cooking for a kid from the coast. I…read moream so glad we found this place. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant it self is unassuming and very casual. You will feel right at home here in shorts and flip flops. The food is the real gym. We had the grouper, and it tasted like it came off the boat that morning. Great flavor, tender and flaky, just like it should be. The season was on point, flavorful but not overpowering. I added the fried ahumó and glad I did. They were perfect. My wife added the crab cake, and that was excellent as well. Plenty of crab meat and not too much stuffing. If you are looking for fresh, authentic gulf seafood, this is the place to go. I can't wait for my mom to come to town from Nashville this will be a must eat for her.

We have in past gone to "The Ark" A bit smaller, less emphasis on alcohol but excellent. We came fish market on way out of town since near Marksmanship park for "D Day" Rifle matches. Unfortunately, bottom line is the food was "OK" but IMHO we both agreed the food and service was much better at "The Ark" ; our meals tonight were bland and kitchen slow. Took almost 40 minutes to get our meal. My son's "chicken sandwich " was two chicken tenders. My 2 whole catfish dinner 1 side (green beans) was fresh hot but not much flavor. Service was good. The menu is very extensive with steaks etc . But menu was overwhelming too. While this may be popular with locals, we prefer "The Ark" smaller yet just as busy, better tasting food and more desirable sides and food came up much quicker. Don't expect to return as we agree "The Ark" is hands down tastier food.

Walked in expecting at least a smile from people working…read more Not a smile was given. Almost felt like we were a burden for just walking in. The place was freezing cold. Ordered Mahi MahI then the server came back and said they were out. I said I would take the Tilapia instead so she said do you want the steam rice and broccoli that came with the Mahi Mahi. Since it took awhile for a server to take our order in the first place and I no longer had a menu so no idea of what other choices I had, to make it easy, I said yes. They charged me extra for the broccoli. It might have been a good idea to let me know that before suggesting it. My husband had the Lasagna. It was just ok as well. Service all the way around was somewhat slow. Food was not worth the price paid. Definitely won't be back.

Seems like they were definitely understaffed but nonetheless the service was still great! Food was amazing. I highly recommend ordering the crab claws with butter and the boudin balls ! For my entree I got the shrimp Alfredo and the shrimp was cooked to perfection! I also tried my mother's steak on the surf and turf and it was great as well. The prices in generally are pretty great for the serving size. I'll definitely be back!

Music City Bagels is a cafe with breakfast sandwiches, lunch, smoothies, coffee, tea and a few…read moredesserts. The food is okay. I had the steak, egg & cheese on red pepper and mozzarella bagel. The sandwich was filling without making you feel stuffed. The bagel itself is delicious. The steak and eggs could have used a little seasoning. Service - The food came out fairly quickly and the cashier was nice. Atmosphere - There are a few tables available for dine in. The walls are lined with records, as the decor is music themed. I dropped a couple of stars for the Fox News propoganda on the TV disturbing my peace. Would be better to show a more neutral station since this is a place of business, or better yet just play music instead since the cafe is music-themed. I meant, it's in the title!

This was by far the best bagel we have had in the state of Alabama since we have been here…read more Let's start off with the hospitality, it was amazing. We were greeted by the owner himself on arrival and were thanked that we came! And was also curious of how we heard about this place. Staff: The staff he has working for him are professional, super polite and knowledgeable about there items they sell. Facility: super clean and tidy Bagels: fluffy and dense with a smooth soft bite. Great flavor. If I'm being picky, I like my bagels with a little more crunch on top and a little tougher bite. The wife for a salt bagel, deff needed some more salt on it. Cream cheese spreads: assortment of spreads with great flavor. Cream cheese is a little more dense than my personal liking. Our orders: steak, egg and cheese bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese spreads on Asiago bagel. Con's: wasn't much steak in it and it was more small pieces of cheesesteak style meat cooked into the eggs. Sausage, egg and cheese on salt bagel. Con's: lack of salt on bagel and not much sausage. It was also cooked into the eggs. Jalapeño cheddar bagel with plain cream cheese. Overall: I would recommend to any bagel fan! Also, I forgot to snap a pic of the bagels but I can assure you they did not last long. The man himself said these bagels were good and we were certainly not let down!
