Super friendly and attentive service. We've been using the app and it has worked well. My 80+ yr old parents like pizza. When we come to town it's super handy to order pizza as we're approaching Grass Valley. The app gets the order correct and tells us when it's done. So we are in and out of the store and on our way for our visit. If per chance you've had a big ole cup of coffee on the way to town they do have a clean restroom available. read more

The Dominoes Pizza in Auburn is so much cooler than the one in Grass Valley Simply because their Pizzas are fully cooked to begin with and If you like, they will do a "well done " request and then it's crispy but not burned and so nice and HOT..as as a matter of fact its so nice and hot you can drive all the way to to Grass Valley with it and when you get there its still HOT . The pizza at Dominoes in Grass Valley is always un baked or baked barely to full crusting and the center is always mushy an limp and under cooked. The staff in Grass Valley also has no comprehension of gratitude to its customers... we tip them and no thanks or gratitude for patronage is ever expressed. Kept yelling they were closed through a closed door and pointing to an "OPEN" sign and an hours menu saying they were open until 1 am. It was 12:15. I was totally fine with them being closed! I get it! They were SO rude they kept interrupting me, saying they were closed and pointing to an "open" sign and an hours sign saying they were open. The staff were two young people, a blonde with curly bangs and a skinny clean shaven brunette guy (early 20s if that), looked nice, but were so dismissive and rude it really bothered me. All I was trying to ask was if I was missing something, but they wouldn't let me get more than 2 words out. It was really rude. I think they were just confused or something, but when they started saying "I can't hear you, we're closed", when I could hear them talking under their voices through the door, I knew it was intentionally rude. Again, I had a big smile on my face, was as nice as possible, but they couldn't have been less kind. They refused to even bother explaining to me. Just kept rudely yelling at me that they were closed and pointing to an "OPEN" sign. Awesome. Really just such a disheartening, dismissive experience. I DONT want them to be punished/reprimanded/written up etc. That would be wrong. After wasting 15m trying to redeem my coupon online only to receive an error that told me to call the store, I wasted even more time talking to a guy that couldn't comprehend the reason for my call. It was annoying enough that I just decided to eat elsewhere just so that I didn't have to deal with the headache any longer. The guy who picked up the phone was not personable. I shouldn't have to repeat myself 3X times due to someone's incompetence. Train your people. I'm new to the area and have tried them twice. Both times I had to cancel my order because an hour after the tracker said the pizza was done, it still wasn't out for delivery. Try to call and they won't even answer the phone. It's unbelievable that they are still getting any customers at all. Ordered a pizza and spinach & feta bread. I don't normally eat Domino's pizza but it was late so I gave them a try. The spinach & feta bread was delicious!! However the pizza was just ok, it was done way before my bread so it was not as warm as I would have liked, I ordered extra cheese and didn't receive it and there wasn't enough sauce on the pizza. But after all of that it was still ok. So I'm sure if it had been warm with the extra cheese and a lil more sauce, it would have been delicious too. read more

Very disappointed in this store. Ordered 2 medium pepperoni pizzas and breadsticks that came out to $30.89. When I went to pick up the pizza I asked why it was so much. They told me the medium pizzas were 9.99. I questioned them and asked isn't there a deal for 5.99 for a medium 2 topping pizza. The guy told me no. I left and got on the website and sure enough the deal is there. When I called back to question it, the girl behind the counter told me because I didn't mention the coupon I didn't get the discount. Well I mentioned it in the store at pick up. This place is a pretty shady place and I'm terribly dissatisfied and disappointed with how they handle it. Yea, went to G.V. to visit my grandson. Stopped at Domino's and told the guy behind the counter...I got $10, I'm hungry...hook me up. He told me that a large three topping pizza was around $7.50. The guy was cool, funny, and knowledgeable about their product. Even though the first pizza got screwed up and they had to make it over again...it was done quick. We ordered from them quite often and always gave great tips and always sent in great reviews once the pizza was delivered. But today we went to order online and it kept giving errors. So I tried to call the order in and I was put on hold 3 times. I held each time until it disconnected me. I tried once more and got through and the girl told me that as of yesterday they downsized their delivery radius and our area were no longer in their radius so they can service their area better, talk about feeling like chopped liver. The pizza is fine and other stuff is good too and normally I have a great experience there. But yesterday, They have a newish worker there named Ira or something like that with a long pony tail , who when I drove up there to pick up my online order, that now was past the time its would be ready it told me on my order receipt, started to tell me it was gonna be an hour to wait , then said their really busy , then just seemed like a really weird dude. So I sat down, and watched this Ira guy walk around behind the counter doing weird movements, and not getting much of anything done. I realized this guy is "ON" something ! Sure ya wanna get high , try not to do it at work! As it turned out , My pizza was up and done under the heat lamp and was just waiting on my wings, and Ira couldn't seem to handle it very well. So while I'd of given this dominos a 5 star for their normal way they conduct their business, picking Ira as their front counter guy that interacts with customers may further prove not a wise choice or maybe at least have him not do it "High" might result in better reviews in the future. read more

I use to love the ease of ordering from them. I live right out side of Nevada city, pizza is what be expected. This review is based more on the practice of online app and communication of the store. I place an order three different time in the last few days. App say their making it then it say order canceled. I called to find out we are no longer in the delivery area. This is fine but the guy says" but your pizza is made" do you want to pick it up. So you know I'm not in the area but still make the pizza??? Maybe your owner should check on that. At least the employees get free pizza??? Bad business practice all around. I called and ordered two large pepperoni pizzas and was told it would be 45 min after about an hour I went to pick up after getting there they told me my pizzas were not done so I went to grocery shop when I went back in to waited about 30 min to even get to talk to someone and when I did the woman working told me it still wasnt ready so I waiting another 45 min and when I finally got up to the counter again and asked them to find out exactly how much longer it would be the woman told me that had no record of my order which alone was very irritating, when I asked if there was any way she could bump my order up if I placed it now due to the fact I had already been waiting almost 3 hours and the person who took my order apparently didn't put it in the computer she told me she couldn't do that and it would be about another 2 1/2 hours and all she could do was put my order in offer me a coupon for some desert things and wait... So unprofessional. I ordered 2 pizzas from here. The delivery guy-I wish I remembered his name-came when they said he would, which is great. But he only brought one pizza. He was nice and said he'd call to see what happened. He did so and said they didn't get the first order. To call the manager for any other issues. He was nice, totally not his fault. I give this Domino's one star for the beautiful building, it is so clean. I can't give any stars for the pizza. The LACK of toppings, horrible sauce and crust. We have been to Domino's in the Yuba City area and it was great. We were happy to have Domino's in Grass Valley. We will never order a pizza there again. It's really too bad that I'm giving this two stars. The food is actually quite good and affordable. The one time I had it, it was great, and the service was awesome. When I can get it, at least. Unfortunately, this has been easier said than done. I often work until 10pm, and was estactic that there was finally a place in this town that dreads being open late that would answer the call and have food (delivered, no less!) after the harrowing witching hour of 10 at night. My excitement turned to constant disappointment, much to my dismay. Although the posted hours go until midnight, that has seldom been the case. Many times the website will list truncated "Holiday hours"; which, okay, not sure what holidays July 29th-30th are, but at least you know they're going to be closed. They were listed for regular hours today, and I checked several times to make sure that there wasn't a surprise August 1st "St. Closeearlysons Day". I tried to order online at 10:10pm to be told that online was unavailable, so I called. After spending 10 minutes on hold listening to advertisements for the pizza I wanted, a human picked up and answered, "Oh... we're closed." Fair enough. I'm done trying for a while. There's plenty of other options during the weekend. If they can change their posted hours to reflect when they are actually open, or even better, be open until midnight (or even 11?) I'll be more than happy to change my mind and review. Until then, I suppose it's just another business in this town where the only night time option is Jack in the Box. read more

Great, clean place. Excellent customer service for walk-ins BUT if the pizza is bland why bother? I thought they gave me a plain cheese pizza by mistake until I looked really close to find the chicken pieces (really tiny). The pepperoni was scarce on the 2nd pizza. Even my boys were unhappy with the bland taste. Perhaps they will improve the primary reason they are in business? I'll check back in a few months. read more
